(Rose Leslie who plays Ygritte is surprisingly attractive, for a ginger. How did this pass me by first time around )
Even better in real life - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uj2z1qnnKkMI've watched s2 over the last week (now it's out on bluray) and i'm pretty shocked at the number of story-line changes or omissions that have been made.
It's almost like someone has taken the key times and places from the book and written an entirely new story around it! Quite interested to see how they make this work with s3.

Well i finally saw season 2 through last night, watched episodes 9 and 10 till 1 am..oops, now sleepy.
I missed them on sky as i only got it half way through season 1 so waited till DVD came out but by time i had seen all of season 1 season 2 was on, so didnt want to miss bits.
Thankfully sky+ is all set for April 1st and season 3.
I have read the second book and was amazed at the differences in the TV show, in terms of how they cut the story and what bits are left out, reading the book gives a much better insight. So i may grab book 3 on audiobook (i get 2 free a month) and listen to it in a marathon session before it starts as i like knowing all the greater details of the dialogue that the book fills out.
Really liking Tyrion as Ever, you could watch Peter Dinklage read out the phone book, and Dance is ace as Tywin Lanister.
One of the best shows on telly.

Really? I thought it's been really close (in comparison to some awful translations out there.)It's almost like someone has taken the key times and places from the book and written an entirely new story around it! Quite interested to see how they make this work with s3.
Another one. At this rate they'll have shown it all in the trailers - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4XSeW4B5Rg&hd...

Who's on the cross and who's the bearded chap climbing the wall? I can't recall.
I think the chap on the cross could be Jaime when he is caught by the Bloody Mummers but Im not 100% sure, it could also be someone Joffrey is having tortured but not sure who that would be in that case. chap climbing the wall is one of the Wildlings I believe but not sure again on the actual character as they have changed or removed some of the extra wildling characters I understand.
Also have read that Vargo Hoat has been replaced with another character because the producers felt the characters disfigurement was too extreme for TV.

Wilding might be the hammer guy,
Wonder how they'll do the giants.
Yeah I thought him as well but cant remember his nameWonder how they'll do the giants.
Im looking forward to the giants actually. They are actually a favourite of mine. In fact I quite like a lot of the wildlings. I like the idea that they are just humans who got trapped on the wrong side of the wall. They arent particularly evil and have their code of conduct much the same as the kneelers do.

Thats who I was thinking as well however I think Rasto is correct that in the book it was Jarl who climbed the wall. However the clip clearly shows Tormund now that you compare them. The guy is pretty distinctive as an actor
As I said in my spoiler above Jarl led the climbers (just read the reference to it in DwD) can't remember if Tormund climbed with him though?Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
