Strange how they glossed over the whole "society is now just a huge bunch of partying wasters reliant upon robot slaves to do their bidding".
I was half expecting the seeds of a droid rebellion being planted to teach them all a lesson and cut short their dependence upon the droids.

It's pretty bonkers, would be interesting to binge them when it's done.

The Mandalore mines episode, the Coruscant side-quest, the pirate battles and now this weird Wall-E one which suddenly decided to fling cameos at us, and all in 30/40 minute episodes.

Strip out the 10 minutes of each episode which advance the story and you'd have a great standalone 'Adventures of the Mandolorian' Saturday morning TV show (and I don't mean that as a negative).

I don't at all mind the episodic nature, akin to Knight Rider, A Team, the Incredible Hulk. It's very 80's!

It's just a video game. Go here, do the thing, go there to get something, carry on to somewhere else, blah blah. Some weeks that has been fine, but this week was just st, and a total waste of the guest stars.

I thought it was a fun episode but nothing more.

They first 2 cameos were surprising and random but the 3rd was even more out of the blue.



Fingers crossed we get to Mandalore next week.

I'd wiped that from my mind, given it had absolutely no relevance other than to set up what Axe Woves and his crew were up to, surely there were one thousand better (and quicker) ways of doing it.

There's so much weird st going on that I'd forgotten about that too, I presume the message was the fish thing can fall in love with the squid thing, so something something diversity?

Now I'm wondering how about 8 people can possibly man one of those massive Empire ships and also the rest of a 'fleet'?

The ratio of characters to story-line is completely off now, I have almost zero understanding of what the wider story is. The episodes haven't been bad, but as a series it's an incoherent mess.

My main question was if Bo Katan was sent off to unite the various Mandelorian tribes, why did she start by getting into a fight with the first Mandelorians she came across over the ownership of the ships that she abandoned?

The reason why Bo Katan is now allowed the Dark Saber was absolute guff too, no way anyone is buying that.
