Star Wars - The Mandalorian
Discussion
Was I the only one expecting?
Mando - "We've discovered the reason the droids have been malfunctioning"
Commissioner Helgait - "Great Scott"
Mando - "Yes, look at this report. They have had their power limits removed and it's just too much for them"
Commissioner Helgait - "By how much..............1.21 GIGAWATTS !!!"

Where will the mystery mobile go next week?
It's pretty bonkers, would be interesting to binge them when it's done. The Mandalore mines episode, the Coruscant side-quest, the pirate battles and now this weird Wall-E one which suddenly decided to fling cameos at us, and all in 30/40 minute episodes.
Strip out the 10 minutes of each episode which advance the story and you'd have a great standalone 'Adventures of the Mandolorian' Saturday morning TV show (and I don't mean that as a negative).
Check this amazing trailer...

Compared to what the show has become![frown](/inc/images/frown.gif)
All thar promise of Bounty Hunting being a dangerous profession

I don't at all mind the episodic nature, akin to Knight Rider, A Team, the Incredible Hulk. It's very 80's! ch37 said:

The robot police siren is the same one in minority report. The Mandalore mines episode, the Coruscant side-quest, the pirate battles and now this weird Wall-E one which suddenly decided to fling cameos at us, and all in 30/40 minute episodes.

Quite a few easter eggs in that episode

The opening moncalimari (spelling I know) love interest scene was painful to watch.
I'd wiped that from my mind, given it had absolutely no relevance other than to set up what Axe Woves and his crew were up to, surely there were one thousand better (and quicker) ways of doing it.ch37 said:

There's so much weird s![](/inc/images/censored.gif)
Now I'm wondering how about 8 people can possibly man one of those massive Empire ships and also the rest of a 'fleet'?
The ratio of characters to story-line is completely off now, I have almost zero understanding of what the wider story is. The episodes haven't been bad, but as a series it's an incoherent mess.
My main question was if Bo Katan was sent off to unite the various Mandelorian tribes, why did she start by getting into a fight with the first Mandelorians she came across over the ownership of the ships that she abandoned?
The reason why Bo Katan is now allowed the Dark Saber was absolute guff too, no way anyone is buying that.
