Another one bites the dust, Scott Derrickson has left Dr Strange 2 due to 'creative differences'.

Rumour that the plot is being driven by the team behind Wandavision, which has been confirmed to tie directly into the Dr Strange sequel.

Wow, that mildly surprises me. When Kev took total control a few years ago I thought we were beyond those sort of 'missteps', I think the last one was ANt-Man, and that was back when Kev didn't have total control. I hope a few more titbits come out.

Talk was he actually pushed to make it a horror and not just a Marvel film with some scary moments. Feige and Marvel Studios weren’t having it.

Interesting that Sam Raimi is now in talks for Dr Strange 2.

Another deleted scene, I love how they can capture the isolated man out of time aspect of Cap. Never liked him in he comics, but he became my favourite one to watch.

Well that's cool. In that scene, here: https://youtu.be/J3w_XL1z9DM?t=78 the date of Howard Stark's death is correct on the paperwork Cap looks through as in the Civil War scene here: https://youtu.be/YSHyLuriU7U?t=230 Zemo asks about the Mission report on December 16th. Love little details and continuity like this!

The best ones are good films in their own right and berter than all the lacklustre reboots and remakes currently in favour. The bad ones I don't watch. smile

I think the continuity person or team must be the best in the business. And their job is only going to get harder. That waitress must be gutted, she had a big chunk dropped from the film! A nice lil arc. This popped up on my feed. biggrin

I think the final edit they did on this scene was better and made the emotional impact tighter.

He is conspicuously absent from the health forum too, been mentioned a few times. Hopefully nothing serious.

Was rewatching Gotg2 and noticed in one scene, ego was explaining his creations and one had a face hugger

Just looked and noticed that Disney owns the Alien franchise now, hence the references in infinity war.

Also watched, in Fantastic four silver surfer, they mention about Venice falling into the Adriatic and it needs saving. What happened in the latest Spiderman. I'm guessing that they won't use this tie in to bring the f4 into the mcu

I've just finished watching the whole lot on Blu Ray. Managed about 1 per week since the start of the year. I'd seen about 50% of them before, but really enjoyed watching them quite close together and in the right order. It's great to pick up on the various character arcs and cross references which I never did before.

Now to decide what to do with 20odd BluRay discs.

I'm not a grade A student of the MCU, is that it for the old Avengers now? Which characters are likely to continue on, and which won't we see again the current MCU

Spiderman and Black Panther have new movies coming, Black Widow too but that’s based after Age of Ultron AFAIK. Not to mention the Disney+ series Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wandavision, Hawkeye (potentially not going to happen after the allegations against Renner) and What if.....? Series which will be a major part of the MCU going forward.

If you’re really after a Marvel fix I can recommend Agents of Shield. Has a bit of a slow start due to keeping pace with the MCU in season one waiting for The Winter Soldier to hit cinemas but after that it’s been one of my favourite series recently.
