Came across this last summer. Closed, as you said. The little church next door is well worth a mosey around - even smells old!
Oi, you...stop throwing those grenades...at me!

Ah, you've got to love The Eagle Has Landed! Perfect wet, cold Sunday afternoon fare!

I am surprised at how fast those old sailing ships can cast off.

Yeah, I was surprised when I saw him saying h was in it.

He is very good as pundit/commentator for the MMA stuff I've seen him do. That surprised me more!
bit of a polymath then - I only knew him from his excellent music with Dan le Sac
His podcast is quite good at times.

Without a further series all that voodoo mumbo jumbo would have felt a bit pointless. Im not sure it added much but obviously this is without much context at the moment

That really ruined the realism for me.

I thought this was a great series, and with fantastic settings throughout.

Daft ending presuming that they could just sail down the Thames, through the Channel and down to the Azores without being picked up by the RN. Enjoyed the series though.

Just finished watching it, absolutely great series, can't wait for the next one.

Did anyone else think that Jason Watkins' performance of Solomon Coop was channelling Sir Humphrey from Yes Minister?

Enjoyed the majority of the series up until the final episode which left me feeling a bit 'meh' as opposed to fully gripped.

I can honestly say that it's the first 'period'drama that I have ever really gotten into .
Settings and clothing were very good ,a bit raunchy in places ,dark violence that was near to realistic.

Does anyone know when the soundtrack is being released? I would have thought it would sell like hot cakes and would have already been released by now.
