Maybe I am getting old..but the dishes served up nowadays on this show just seem like pretentious clap trap, a few years back I remember being able to knock up a few of the dishes from the recipes from the show provided by the the BBC Good Food Magazine.

I was devastated tonight when about to eat my M&S Lasgagne for one, I noticed we were out of badger, hedghog, butterfly and coriander puree to sprinkle on it..shocking biggrin

Wasn't that more the "regular" Masterchef that they provided recipes from, hasn't "Masterchef: The Professionals" always been a bit on the pretentious side.

I wonder what the "nobody has dared cook this in 10 years" that was trailed at the end is going to be. Pufferfish biggrin

That burnt ox cheek looked like a soggy lump of coal. How do you get a sauce and cheek that black?

Powders as seasoning seem to be the recent trend. Popular in Indian cookery.

Mrs BS2 noticed that not one is fat! What’s the world coming to where the best chefs aren’t fat? Do they not eat their own food.

By letting the pressure cooker boil dry. He was lucky to get away with it.
