Bad Films I watched this weekend

Okay, this will divide opinion, but out of curiosity I watched the human centipede - or at least tried to!
Normally quite a fan of odd/weird films, but this one was just crap. No story, very little good acting (aside from the Doctor) and just plenty of bits which didnt make a lot of sense. It seemed that the whole film was the shock value of seeing a human centipede, and tbh I felt sorry for the actors spending an hour, topless, on their hands and knees. Highly doubt that was where they saw their careers going 10 years ago...
3/10.

I like a 'bad' film as in Iron Sky, or any number of Asylum/SyFy films etc.
I haven't seen Pixels, but it doesn't seem to be coming across here as a so bad it's good film, just bad. But as someone into the games, consoles and all that, I feel a duty to see it, and it won't really cost anything as I've got a subscription card thing at the cinema (pay monthly and watch what you like). Maybe one night this week, along with Ant Man or Inside Out.

Battle of Los Angeles
Not to be confused with Battle Los Angeles which was also bad but not in comparison to this. The official trailer contains ALL the best bits of the film so please save yourself 90 minutes of your life and just watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vqud_up4e6w
Now I think about it, has there ever been a good file with Los Angeles in the title?

I thought Iron Sky was great, totally nuts but a lot of fun.I haven't seen Pixels, but it doesn't seem to be coming across here as a so bad it's good film, just bad. Adam Sandler. I don't even need to see the advert to know it's going to be bad. How does this guy keep getting work, he must have some really good dirt on someone.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cc85QCF5414
This was the first review of Pixels I saw. Not for the faint of heart (or safe for work)

Bad weather meant we watched 3 films of varying quality.
First up was Hector and the search for happiness (5 stars on Netflix). Had high hope for this Simon Pegg film but it wasn't very good at all. Next up was Johnny Depp in The Lone Ranger. 2 stars on Netflix so was expecting much at all. Turned out to be pretty watchable. Some decent action scenes. Last was Pain & Gain. Mark Warlberg being massive. Well worth a watch so probably should get mentioned on a thread elsewhere...

Broken Flowers
I usually think anything 7 or above on IMDB is worth a watch but this was rubbish. Maybe I just don't like Bill Murray anymore. The deadpan one liners in Ghostbusters is one thing, deadpan the entire film with no expression or feeling is not good.

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and Lost in Translation are another two Bill Murray films I did not like.

It's pretty much who he is. I think the stories of how he gets jobs are better than some of his later films.I usually think anything 7 or above on IMDB is worth a watch but this was rubbish. I do love Bill Murray, but my favourite stuff of his is from a long time ago.
Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, Stripes, Scrooged etc.
