The wars in the Riverlands mostly happened offscreen. The Greatjon and that dying etc, the leeching of forces. Lannisters lost a lot at Blackwater too, before the Tyrells showed up.
The Riverlands was weak, hence the Blackfish being able to retake Riverrun. If the Lannisters have more men, they must be back at Casterly Rock with Kevan. I think they're down to the same levels as Riverun/North.

Qyburn, he needs no revenge on the Mountain, he's had that a 1,000fold! Probably subtly chortled his tits off when he got the chance to keep him alive in a torturous state.

And the Mountain is doing what Qyburn is ordering him to do as well. Remember the drunk talking about doing to Cersei what he does to his wife, the Mountain then crushed his head against a wall, EP1 I think. Later in the episode when Qyburn is talking to his "little birds" he asks one how his mother is, the boy say she's well now but that's because his dad hasn't been seen for days. He looks after his little birds well, did their former master Varys?
SOme reckon the birds are still loyal to Varys...I reckon we'll see more of the birds before this series ends.

There's only about three people who believe they exist.
It's like a fella popping up in Parliament and saying we need an army to fight the Tuatha Dé Danann. biggrin

All this travelling around the North together to different houses takes a while and they can only talk about Melisandre's tits for so long before talk moved onto the White Walkers and the Nights King.
Really? Because, they are pretty impressive tits.

that did seem strange and no real identification to them when they first appeared either and they did not seem to recognise the hound either

I reckon the leader did, if he is with Thoros' gang, then he must have.

In GoT, it's a glamour when people try and look like others. Using the faces of dead people is a easy toolkit to do it for anyone with he knowhow, to do it with pure illusion requires much more effort/energy and know how I reckon. People we have seen do this are Mel and Jaquen. Level 100 users! biggrin

It's interesting how peoples views of certain characters change over the course of a few seasons. Let's not forget, Jamie was nobbing his sister and then threw a child out of a window to keep it a secret.
Well he hasn't stopped doing the former, and with his last chat, I reckon he'd still do the latter.
I reckon the Kingslayer will get his comeuppance soon.

They'll be the same fella's, just following Tom's new orders.

In the books Jaime has a nice arc, I can't quite recall how it is with he and Cersei in the latest one, I think the show is roughly the same, we got a great insight into Jaime's life back in S3, when Brienne was taking him back, the scene in the bathhouse, is one of the best, 'my name is Jaime.'

Nope, he does.

It's also clearer in the book that it's not his idea to throw Bran out of the window; he's Cersai's puppet. And you see the guilt of it playing in his mind, just like you see the real reason he killed the King.

He's a complex character is Jamie. But at the bottom of it all he wants to do the right thing.
I thought in the book it was all him? Cersei was surprised at what he did.doing the right thing at the time meant defending g the family, which meant killing the kid.

We've seen the Waif to be superior to Arya in fighting, considerably so.
