Falling Skies - Will It Be any good?

I am watching and will continue watching even though the weepy "Brothers and Sisters" background music is doing my head in. Ben having a distinctly Canadian accent when his Dad and 2 brothers have American ones is a bit amusing.

Anyone else spot the Mazda 626 Chronos being used as a barricade?. That model was never sold in the US.

I hung on a tad more and binned it after 4 eps. Thoroughly disappointing show.

Seen the first 6 episodes, enjoying it so far. Interesting Aliens and Mechs.

I think it's picking up a bit now with the latest developments in episode 8. Seems to be building up to a nice season finale.

I've stuck with it so far (Seen the first 7) but it's a bit crap to say the least, for some reason though i keep watching it, maybe in hope that something good happens

I watch it because even crap sci-fi is better than the usual reality\makeover\home\celebrity crap which is on TV. If another sci-fi show gets cancelled they it makes it harder for them to justify making anymore.

It was slow to start off with, but episode 8 has made a massive improvement, new bad guys .... the real ones.
