If you're expecting top notch 3D effects, you'll be disappointed.
If you're expecting warmed up leftovers, you won't.
To me it felt like they tried hard to wow people in the first few minutes, then got bored and did as little as possible to get the job done. Similar to the original in that respect I suppose.

Apart from the introductory writing (the yellow Star Wars narrative at the beginning) I wasn't wowed by the 3D at all.
Save your cash.
I went to see a 3D film once and the highlight was an ad for Brandy where a giant glass exploded seemingly in the middle of the cinema!Save your cash.
My son's been trying to get me to go and see it with him, but I'm not keen.

I am taking my 6 year old to see it this week, I am not expecting much, but it will be the only chance he'll get to see all of the star wars films on the big screen, so will be worth it for that experience for him alone. My son's been trying to get me to go and see it with him, but I'm not keen.
