If you're expecting top notch 3D effects, you'll be disappointed.

If you're expecting warmed up leftovers, you won't.

To me it felt like they tried hard to wow people in the first few minutes, then got bored and did as little as possible to get the job done. Similar to the original in that respect I suppose.

Apart from the introductory writing (the yellow Star Wars narrative at the beginning) I wasn't wowed by the 3D at all.

Save your cash.

I went to see a 3D film once and the highlight was an ad for Brandy where a giant glass exploded seemingly in the middle of the cinema!

My son's been trying to get me to go and see it with him, but I'm not keen.

Saw it on Sunday at the IMAX.

Was okay but faster moving scenes were quite blurred. Glasses (over top of ny normal specs)seemed to cut into the bridge of my nose.

Will probably see the next two in this format as well when they come out, might as well...

I am taking my 6 year old to see it this week, I am not expecting much, but it will be the only chance he'll get to see all of the star wars films on the big screen, so will be worth it for that experience for him alone.

can't imagine why anyone would want that POS to be literally shoved in their faces.
This.

Rubbish film in 2D, can't see how 3D would offer any improvement.

Is it just me that doesn't want to watch movies in 3D?

I don't even think you will be able to buy a brand new 3D TV in twenty years as the fad will have passed by, again.
I avoid at all cost as it gives me a headache
