I wouldn't call them 206 based, though they do use 206 running gear. It's mid engined for a start......

FWIW, I don't think the Ferrari was real - didn't sound remotely like a Ferrari, and it looked a bit off, though the brake calipers do appear to be in the right place, which is often difficult to get right! (They could be dummies I suppose!)

Also, the clips seemed to be very tightly edited so as not to show the plates......

The sound is 100% genuine F430, the front intakes are body coloured red instead of dark gray, shields were stick on but all looked pretty much genuine to me.

When the engine started it sounded real, but the body doesn't look right to me.

Isn't Louis Vuitton suing Warner Bros for using a fake Luis Vuitton bag in one of their movies and implying it was real?

Would the same not apply here? I'm sure Ferrari wouldn't be too pleased ITV are trying to pass a kit car off as the real thing!

Definitely seems to be something wrong. The body lines just seem wrong and it does'nt sound great.

You hear it start up sounds like a 430... so how does it move off with no sound?

Why would they use a fake one - I don't understand? Surely there'd even be one in the carpark, let alone just asking a local dealer to borrow one?

I thought it was real, or at least sounded real frown
