Man. This is tough but here goes (in no specific order)

The Terminator (when T2 first came out I thought it was better but watch them back to back and you see which is a proper film and which is corny)
Predator
The Goonies
Duel
Transformers The Movie (1986 animated one)
The Usual Suspects
Shawshank Redemption (my no: 1 film)
Pulp Fiction
Blazing Saddles
Cannonball Run (first time I remember seeing a Countach)

I feel genuinely robbed that I knew the twist of The Usual Suspects before I watched it.
Someone telling me what happened at the end of Skyfall before I had seen it ruined it a bit for me too! Have you seen The Sixth Sense yet?

How can nobody have mentioned the Godfather?

And Hot Fuzz? Almost the worst thing I've ever actually watched from start to finish, second only to Shaun of the Dead.

Being of Italian descent, I'm not a huge fan of Mafia films and I think The Godfather is seriously overrated. I'd rather watch Goodfellas & The Soprano's.

Let the slating begin smile

Without listing mine as it would be too taxing on my brain at this minute im guessing at least 8 of the 10 would be from the 1980s.
Looking through most peoples lists theirs seem to be the same.

What is it with 80s films? Are they just better or are we all just kids of the 80s.

I did. thumbup Page 1

I thought I was happy with my list, until I read some of the other posts.

Adding Die Hard, Collateral, Goodfellas, Smokey and the Bandit

Good to see so many votes for Casino Royale too.
