Meanwhile, The Big Bang Theory, which is heavily reliant on the same old tired jokes, is on for it’s 98th series.

Hopefully Netflix pick it up.

The entire cast is excellent, but Holt steals it for me.

Yeah, "Oh, that is quite nice". "I'm sorry, I lost control there in my excitement"....... Just so dry...

Captain Holt is a hero! On the bus last episode, texting with his sign off of ‘Sincerely, Raymond Holt’, was a classic. smile

There isn't a single character who is just there to pad it out. They are all crucial.

Agreed. The scripts are so good for every character, and the acting is spot on too.

Take any one character away and they whole would be diminished.

There is no need to sign off a text.

Your comment is noted.

Sincerely,

Raymond Holt...... biggrin

I do think most of them are there with some classic lines, like the food eating episode where the food was two weeks old and they are all puking but the fat bloke keeps eating and says "You guys know the food is free right?"...

There’s too many lines to choose from - although I am rather a fan of the way this was delivered:

Tbh, although I like B 9-9 I’m more upset Last man on earth , has been canned. The end of season 4\was a real cliff hanger.

I caught Brooklyn Nine Nine only recently by chance when working from home one day, and since then really been enjoying it. Great scripts and characters as others have said.
