Best visual gag: third visit of Nick the Greek to Breaker’s office, Breaker’s associate walks in with a drink, as per first two visits, stops, remembers what happened first two times, then backs out slowly. All while Breaker is in the middle of his rant at Nick.
And Breaker stepping through the damaged coffee table when he advances on Nick...How four actors managed to keep straight faces during this scene I don’t know!

Considering it had a look of a older film in the first place it doesn't look out of place today.

Well, i'd forgotten just how good that was / is.
Soundtrack = fantastic.
Visual gags & one-liners = still funny.
Cinematography style = still fresh.
The cars and vans were old at the time, so no difference.
That was considerably the best way to spend 1 3/4 hours film watching this year. In fact, that my wife and I both agree that this is the best film we have watched together this year.
Now go watch Layer Cake, sexy beast, Snatch, Rocknrolla......Soundtrack = fantastic.

And the Long Good Friday!!!!! Don’t forget that!
Harold:Who's having a go at me? Can you think of anyone who might have an old score to settle or something?
Razors:
Who's big enough to take you on?
Harold:
Well, there were a few.
Razors:
Like who?
Harold:
Yeah, they're all dead...

Is it me, or has Layer Cake not aged at all?
They could re-release it tomorrow and it would still seem fresh and up-to-date (well, other than the P38 rangie obvs...)
A true classic. Great actors in every main role, great choices for scenes, brilliant camera work (imo). I walk past the Regency Cafe every now and then (where Morty beat the living daylights out of that hanger on) and always think of the film and smile. Epic imo. They could re-release it tomorrow and it would still seem fresh and up-to-date (well, other than the P38 rangie obvs...)
