I read the title of this thread and without even seeing any posts, I immediately thought of Seagal. I'd like to also nominate Vin Diesel.
Yep, that was going to be my shout. Laughably slow and wooden in the recent F&F films. In one of them he fights Statham, and he makes Statham look like Bruce Lee.peterg1955 said:
No mention of Jean-Claude van Damme yet? perhaps no one here has ever seen any of his movies....
Are we talking about the same JCVD that punched out the snake in Hard Target? How can anyone who punches a venomous snake unconscious, fall into the category of worst action star. Clearly a fking legend.
Hulk Hogan, now there's someone who shouldn't have crossed over into films (along with John Cena)
Steven Seagal comes across as a psychopath if you read some of the stories about him.
Not sure if it's true or not, but the story about him being choked out and soiling himself after challenging a stuntman is possibly my favourite.

I'll agree with HH (Thunder in Paradise is still floating around in my memory like a bad smell, execrable film), Cena on the other hand was quite enjoyable in Blockers (I too enjoy bad films!)Had a quick look on IMDb
Seagal - 57 films, think I've seen his first 10 rest were probably straight to dvd.
Van Damme - 74 films, probably seen about 15 odd of those, the rest are probably ste.
Statham - surprisingly 52 acting credits, I think he appears in a lot of higher quality movies so I've seen quite a few of them.
Whoever said Arnie, no he is probably one of the best and has probably more better films than poor ones.
Made a change seeing him in a more recent film called Aftermath about a father who loses he's family in a airplane crash due to a screwup from an air traffic controller, and then him dealing with their deaths and debating whether he should take revenge on the ATC
