I watched Mr. Right earlier on your recommendation, silly but laugh out loud funny in parts.

Saw this last night - and I see where you are coming from, but without spoilering it’s different enough (in my view). I thought the storyline was pretty unusual and a change from the norm, as there are twists and turns along the way.
I enjoyed it (my wife a bit more I think), was a good couple of hours at the cinema. Rockwell was as superb as he usually is. Not good enough to start saying to people that ‘you must go’, but a solid 6/10 from me. Happy to watch it again in 3 years on ITV2.

I'd agree with the above - although I think I enjoyed it slightly more than my wife.

In my book it's worth going to see if you have an unlimited card (or similar) but I wouldn't recommend someone handing over actual cash to go see it.

We saw it last night before reading the reviews, and struggled to marry up the poor reviews to what we'd seen.

We both thoroughly enjoyed it, would watch again.

I never pay much attention to critics because they are usually up their own arse and chat st, plus I like a st film (that's good if you know what I mean).

I'll get a new Vitality ticket in a week so will give it a go. Won't cost anything, although might pay for the isense / imax upgrade.

Fair point. A lot of the Oscar winning films in recent times I’ve found utterly dull.

Just came back from seeing it.

From what i saw from the reviews I went in with massively low expectations.

But i fully enjoyed it. Just a bit of brain out fun, some nice twists and the music was great. Like someone else said i'd watch it again in a few years on the tele.

Good, daft fun. Best part about it was seeing Bryce, a little bit chunky these days, kicking ass at the end. Refreshing to see a lady who you could believe could deliver a punch.

Solid 7 of 10.

Watched it with Mrs. DG; what a load of utter tosh, characters that stretched credibility beyond belief, a completely unbelievable plot.

Absolutely loved it; better than many recent films, that take themselves far too seriously, a breath of fresh air.

I watched it last night and thought the same as you. The dancing while shooting bad guys and the ice skating scenes were so embarrassingly bad. So formulaic and derivative and with the cast it had it could have been great fun.
