How did I not realise those two were mother and son, their eyes are both a mile apart!

Two down so far, strangely enough the two oldest players.
But also two of the most irritating, so it is improving!

I thought he was annoyingly smug and she was clearly on a different planet!

If the shields being for grabs is a feature of all/most of the challenges, then those that prioritise getting themselves a shield might find themselves unpopular around the table at banishment time!

I did chuckle at the lass trying to throw the bloke under the bus for grabbing a shield when did the same in the previous challenge. “You ran past me to get a shield whilst I was still untying the other team members”

She couldn’t accept the hypocrisy either. What she did was arguably worse as an individual decision rather than a team decision.

Sonia thought she was playing a clever game, only that obviously stirring things up and being confrontational this early on is a stupid strategy for a faithful. Not as bright as she thinks.

I’d be laying low during this first phase as there’s so many people and little evidence to go on, you only need to stand out slightly to become a target for eviction.

It's very hard to work people out based on what we see and the editing of the programme but you've got to love the sheep following the herd. It only takes one person to slip up with a silly comment or have an off-day or stir the st too much and it causes a run at the round table and cause a pile on.

Not liking that Diane woman though, she sounds like a proper Karen.

Started episode 1 last night, having previously watched Traitors UK, US and Oz.

Not warmed to any of the contestants yet, which is unusual as usually Episode 1 of the other versions I had spotted 1 or 2 I liked.

Episode 3 tonight - I enjoyed it. Next on Wed, Thu, Fri next week
Must cost a fortune to produce but in fairness, it does show in the finished product. It’s addictive!

We watched the first series & absolutely loved it , I was hooked after about 10 minutes into the second series.

Diane the red head will be a real problem if the traitors don't get shot of here .

The black gay vet chap is an excellent choice by the traitors & I think Ash will get caught out , She's no Amanda from series one/

love this show.

I think we saw similar behaviour in the first series. Early on in the show, it appears that anyone who stands out for any reason is likely to be banished. In her case, acting a bit like Miss Marple did for her.

Much better to lie low initially and let the extroverts do their thing. For example, the clairvoyant woman (Tracey, I think) has said next to nothing. Then again, given her 'gift', I suppose she can see what's coming........

Its same as Survivor ie like they havent watched previous season and realise that early on it doesnt take much for people to latch onto you as an easy target and once your name is our there it will stick.

My wife and I love this show and have been waiting ages for this new series to begin.

Such a good show and it's shot beautifully.

Makes us both want to go up to Inverness for a break away this year.

It's good how they have switched it up a bit this year with no Armoury and the Shields to be collected during the missions.

Have watched Episode 3 on iPlayer and WTF was going on with Brian at the roundtable? Seems like he had been spiked or just pressure got to him? Even though he is a faithful???

Can't believe I didn't spot Diane and Ross as Mother and Son. So obvious once you know it.

Just a heads-up for Traitors fans.

BBC have a companion programme for this series that starts at 10 pm tonight on BBC2 and iPlayer called The Traitors: Uncloaked.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001ty6w/episodes...

Will be good to hear from the banished/murdered players and also any other behind-the-scenes footage.

I said to the wife - has he come straight from the bathroom after snorting a line of charlie. Kept touching his nose.

I'd not seen this before, it's quite good the Mrs and I are addicted.

Seems very similar to the Werewolf game in principle which we played a fair bit over Christmas.

Wasn't sure how a 2nd series would fare now the contestants have a better idea of what happens, but so far it's proving entertaining again.

The whole thing with Brian at the round table was odd to say the least. Think I did a full circle of emotions when watching it - at first utter confusion, followed by the sort of cringing/laughing normally reserved for The Apprentice, but finally a little concern as it felt like he was having a minor breakdown. He was obviously very wound up earlier in the day, having been voted as the "biggest sheep" - really took that to heart and got overly upset over it. If he doesn't get voted out soon I can see him leaving of his own accord.
