How do you know it's the truth?
There are errors in an inconvenient truth contains several mistakes of varying severity. If you do watch it, make sure you check out the debatable points from both sides of the debate. It is better than the great global warming swindle though. Personally I wouldn't watch either, it is a bit dated now for a start, but look at the IPCC scientific basis report, which gives the truth as far as mainstream science is concerned.
You thinks the IPCC tells the truth?!?!? Good Lord.

Oh dear. Someone who has swallowed it hook, line and sinker. Yes..sleep...quite.
No, just heard the comment so often that it is totally lacking in wit or originality. BTW, I suspect you have read the IPCC reports, so that you know what they actually say and can demonstrate where they have told porkies?

I wasn't trying to be witty or original so give it a rest. Re : IPCC...yes, I have. Have you?

Ludo,

What were the errors in TGGWS? Specifically the ones that existed in the second edition?

how do they explain the mini ice age (16th century) or the Romans growing grapes up in Northumberland when it was a lot warmer, then the bronze age where it was another 10C hotter than it is now ?

You aren't going to get much truth from this film. It is pure propaganda by a man seeking power.

Bloody boring though, I'm almost a sleep, the only bit that kept me awake was the self pitying bit about him losing the presidency to Bush.

That's the crux of it, failed to take the ultimate prize so picked up and ran the most contentious issue out there today. Keeps his name in the headlines and sustains his career for all the wrong reasons.

So what happened to the broadcasting charter for channel 4 where they are obliged to show both sides of the debate?

Well, given that Channel 4 broadcast 'The Great Global Warming Swindle' some time ago I would say that this is the other side of the coin.
