I enjoyed tonights opener to season 4, roll on tomorrow night.

Also it's wise to watch the tasters on the ITV website. They serve as a prequel
to this season and explain (sort of) what happened in between seasons 3 and 4.

It seems that Sarah Page/Laila Rouass was killed during a search & rescue attempt for
Abby, Connor and Danny.
How convienent. I presume Danny is going to make some kind of heroic comeback at some point and that Dr Bashir is this seasons goodie-who-is-really-a-baddie? I always really want to like Primeval and there are parts I really enjoy and particular characters that are excellent (Lester and Connor) but the other male leads are just awful. They make a Keanu Reeves look charasmatic.

Plot developments this year. Due to Other commitments Jason Flyming wasn't able to do all the episodes but could do three. Hence Danny will return. Sarah was killed trying to find Connor, Abby and Danny "In between" the seasons. Claudia/Jenny is returning and, going right back to season one, the surviving University "buddy" of Connor's is to appear again.

This is something that I should really enjoy, yet I've seen a couple of episodes and still think it is c**p.

Well, after tonight's episode, I'm trying to decide whether I prefer Hannah with long hair or short. smile
She seems to have adopted the Glynis Barber, Dempsey & Makepeace cut for this series.

It is sadly a bit crap. So many terrible mistakes, continuity errors, unrealistic (even in terms of the show's storyline) bits. Bit of a dissapointment.

Claudia/Jenny was the best reason to watch it imo:

I'm quite liking it. The extras are a bit sparse but they are building a "canon" and not "losing" characters. Instaead "old" characters are part of the current story but not dependant on it.

Did anyone notice the continuity error in last week's show? When Matt rescued Emily from the crypt, she put her arms around his neck as he lifted her out, then in the next scene he unties her hands which are bound with rope.

There's plenty of this going around. I particularly like how they can reach any part of the UK and kill/return/trap the monster in what seems like less than one day. And all in a very ordinary Nissan pickup.

Just a heads up that the new series (series 5) starts tomorrow night, but this time it is on Watch (channel 109 on Sky). It will be on ITV later in the year

As a non Sky person, I'll wait for ITV later on and avoid this thread for a while. Thanks smile .
