Police Story 1 - abysmal story and acting but brilliant fight scenes. I still can't believe those stunt men went out through the top window of a double decker...

Haha, first thing that came to mind when thinking back to Jackie Chan films.

Definitely agree with Tony Starks, the action in the old stuff pre-Hollywood-health-and-safety is incredible.

Wheels on Meals is rather good and is legitimately on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgOtOHUcjAM

There's a funny old woman with a Starion and hardly subtle product placement.

I think the stunts were more to do with the fact they didn;t have any better/safer ways of doing them (I guess!)

My favourites are:

Snake in the Eagle's Shadow
The Drunken Master I & II
The Young Master
Meals on Wheels
Project A
Armor of God series
Police Story series
Rumble in the Bronx

Not so great was Gorgeous, but it does have the two excellent fight scenes with Brad Allan.

Alot of them probably did it just to work with Chan and didn't he have to pay/sort out his own insurance as no-one was crazy enough to insure them after all his accidents?
