What winds me up about this...and it's true of many new action film's (James Bond is an obvious stand out) is that the camera is put right in the action, so close like your supposed to feel part of what's going on....but they put it so close that you can't tell what the hell is happening.

It would probably be fine for short periods but when the whole scene is shot like that with no long shot to show the context of what's happening it just makes the whole thing a confused mess.

What happens at the end? For the third time I sat through the first hour and a half last night but got bored when they are fighting in the city and switched it over.

I really enjoyed the films!

Hoping the Dinobots make an appearance in the next film.

Watched Revenge of the Fallen lastnight, more of the same, but didn't know which robot was which apart from the obvious ones. The designs of these things really have got nothing to do with the cartoon. Ravage looked more like the dog alien from Alien 3.

I know the films don't do the size changing thing like the series, but they are all way too spiny and complex for me.

I was quite excited to watch it. Then I saw Micheal Bay's name and my heart sunk.

He's done a couple of good films in his time eg Bad Boys 1 and 2. I quite like the new transformer films to be honest. I think it helps that I haven't seen the origionals so I can't see what he's done wrong. Also I love the Camaro even if it isn't supposed to be that car.

To be fair, after I wrote that I remembered Bad Boys 1 and 2. Two films I really like!

thats what made the first one so good imo, we got a proper intro to each autobot and decepticon. and all the clicking and cracking as they changed was really cool.
