Not true. There is also the ironically-monikered Comedy Dave.
and yet he is a mere nothingness when compared to Sara Cox
she musta shagged a lotta people to have got on the radio, let alone stayed on there

Still tune in to Steve Wright, he's as good as ever.
I hope you're joking. Ah, the hilarity as he mispronounces a word! Gets me every time.

Only Radio presenters I like are Ken Bruce (just about) and Simon Mayo. Give me an iPod in the car over the radio any day though.

It's Moira Stewart's laugh I can't stand. Very irritating.
Agree with that.. Firstly she really loves the sound of her own voice (although she seems to stumble over her words with alarming frequency when actually reading the news) and secondly she seems to think she has some form of coquettish alure, hence the false laugh.

You must be fking kidding? Steve 'love the show' wright has been phoning that st in for years now. He really needs putting out of his misery.

Moyles is a joke the only thing worth listening to is R4 and even then Humphries does my head in with his own brand of high octane agro at 7:20am - I'd had enough the other day and just listened to (not particularly nice) engine noise for 45 minutes.

Like Chris Evans very much, although I enjoyed Wogan too. Cannot stand Steve Wright, who seems to have been broadcasting exactly the same show for years.

Agree on Evans getting boring, he was fresh and interesting for a start. Switch to local radio now to try and find music, isn't that what radio was for, not chatting. As for Moyles, have always disliked his 'style of broadcasting'. Radio 1 has gone to the dogs. Still tune in to Steve Wright, he's as good as ever.
Finally, something that I agree with. smile Music & traffic news is all I want, I really don't want any non-entertaining entertainers dribbling on about nothing. Sack 'em all. hehe

Chris Evans isn't a naturally funny person and has no personality. He remains, as ever, overrated.

I couldn't disagree more.

The fact that for many years Ms Stewart possesed such gravitas, makes her girlish laughter seem rather amusing and endearing.

I actually have a lot of time for Chris Evans, especially after reading his books. Seems a decent guy with a few addictive facets to his character, and looks after those close to him.

however, for music - http://www.1077thebone.com/

One of the things I wish my car had is a DAB radio, so I can listen to Radio 6Music. I like just about every presenter they have, but especially Steve Lamacq. His show is just brill.

I can't stand him, far too cheerful and upbeat! No longer tune into R2 in the mornings unless it's after 9.30.

Similarly, I wish I had a DAB radio in the car so I could listen to Five Live. I'm not really into music much but, being available only on AM, the reception on R5 is so poor that most of the time it's unlistenable (that's not actually a word, is it?)

I've got DAB in my camper and reception is atrocious. Fine when stationary, much less so on the move.
