Tim's speech sets the standard for gracious exits
That's so true, a Gent. Not the right person to go, but then that's the public voting for you. Scott Mills surely can't last much longer can he?

Frankly I hope not. He dances like a robot that has been pre-programmed by his instructor; and about as effectively too. It's pretty excruciating watching him dance. He's also clearly so used to being on radio that he's struggling on camera - his radio personality just isn't evident when he's on Strictly. Not that I've seen anyway (I don't watch the mid-week shows). Right now I think Scott and Judy are the two weakest dancers. The judges certainly think so.
I thought Claudia was the winner on saturday night - I think i might be a little bit in love with her and I admit i was wrong about her.
she did still used to look like an unmade bed tho. I am sooo fickle.
as for the show, tim and scott should have been in the bottom 2 there was so much wrong with both dances however scott's dance was worse than Tims. Scott had a little stumble early doors and it seemed to throw him completely - he didn't half stomp round a dance that is supposed to be erm...smooth.
marks dance off wasn;t great either but he was still better than Tim who was unbelievably gracious in exit - well done to them both and on to next week....
judy will probably have to spend some time dancing solo in the charleston and i fear for her...she is a bit milfy though...

I still say Anton & Claudia for next years presenters though.

I just don't "get" why Scott Mills is popular.
Because he's a Radio 1 DJ and a lot of people like his show and find him amusing. Those people evidently vote for him. Nom de ploom said:

I found Claudia's antics with the popcorn the week before so spontaneously hilarious. She is a great asset to the show. she did still used to look like an unmade bed tho. I am sooo fickle.

Frankie and Kevin on ITT, they are quite likeable aren't they? I know she's a ringer but still, what an amazing dance this weekend. The judges were very critical.
Sorry, but as not being from the UK, what is a "ringer"?RichB said:
t's a football expression meaning that a certain player has drafted into the side in order to win a particular match who is significantly better than the rest of the team. i.e "They're playing a ringer!" I assume Ash means she is already a good dancer in a program for people who supposedly can't dance.

Ah right, never knew that. I've used it for over 40 years in football, OOI what's the original context?
From the first entry for "Ringer" in Wikipedia:ringer
Horse racing: An impostor, especially one who misrepresents his or her identity or ability in order to gain an advantage in a competition. In horse racing, when a fast horse was substituted for a slower one that it resembled (a "ring-in"), the term now applies to any athlete entered in a team competition under false pretenses in order to gain a competitive advantage by strengthening the team.

She is, but she was announced as the replacement for Brucie, and she isn't. They've put Stress Daly on the floor as lead presenter and dumped Claudia upstairs. Not that she's doing a bad job, cos she isn't. But all they've effectively done is just get rid of Brucie.ash73 said:

Pixie Lott must have had some dance training in the past too, she's very good and looked incredible on Saturday! As singers they'll be used to moving to music, but the dance routines they'd do on stage or for music videos are a world away from the couples dances they do in Strictly. They probably lay a good foundation, though, and ensure they're fit and supple. That splits drag that Pixie did on Saturday was rather amazing.

Yes it was rather impressive!Anyway, hmm, hmm, turns out she attended a dance academy for 8 years, so does have a rather good foundation.
