The Classic Car Show - Channel 5

I missed it in its first year and almost missed the second because it was hardly advertised or promoted, so I've got no idea where the strong turnout came from. I suppose my paper round has its perks, because I found out about the show when it appeared in the events section of the Croydon Guardian. It was Sunday 22nd June on the Rotary Fields and I suppose it will be around the same time if they hold it again.

I like the idea of the show but Jodie Kidd, rich girl with nothing to do, sorry. She may look good to some, she may drive cars quick but there are many more who could do that job and present or is it the contacts she has that opens doors to access on some cars like the California that make her invaluble?

VBH would do much better, the GT 40 would have been having the nuts reved of the engine on the Reims straight for example and genuine warmth

As for the Alex guy, he is almost the comedy relief, never really liked him on any TV show but
