I managed to avoid the "leak" all day, so it was more enjoyable that way. The right person won, but I'm pleased that Kate vindicated her position in the final. I think maybe she took the attitude "I'm on a hiding to nothing, so f**k it I'll have a go."
Steve simply cracked under the pressure.
All in all, C4 did a good job.

So Sophie and Steven going on holiday together to the Northern lights
Sophie deserved to win, and thought katy did very well too. I was a little surprised by the unexpected 'romance' story at the end. Have enjoyed the CH4 series - I think Noel did a lot better than most people thought he would, and came across as quite a lovable character.

That's what I thought, which would explain why her boyfriend would be ok with the holidaying together.Overall the right decision, Sophie was the most consistent throughout the series. Agree with the earlier comment, pleased for Kate justifying her place in the final as she upped her game considerably.

I think Noel and Sandi both got more personally attached to the contestants because they were far more emotional than Mel and Sue, especially as the series went on and they had to let someone go.Pleased the 3 women seem to have become friends too. Although it's a competition they always help each other out, they did with the BBC version and this is no different. Good job CH4 on not messing with the format.
All in all, I really enjoyed this series. After the BBC fiasco, and the loss of Mary Berry, Mel and Sue, it looked like Channel 4 had paid a lot for a tent. The production made it, and the last few episodes have seemed as though Pru, Noel and Sandi have been doing the show from day 1.
The only complaint, especially as it was channel 4 was the lack of double entendres.
I'd never heard of Noel before this either. I'd ask what he was famous for, but I'll just google it...

His comedy material is, how can I put it, "niche".The only complaint, especially as it was channel 4 was the lack of double entendres.
