Drew has a shop in my town selling rip off 'antiques'.

He is also banned from every drinking establishment in the borough of Conwy.

Make of that what you will!!

If you need help, he is an utter bellend of the vilest kind.

I'm quite enjoying this programme, it seems better than the first series. I quite like the honesty about the costs of the works undertaken, when compared with Edd China's free labour on WD and Tim Shaw's blagging.

Did they sell the Maserati in the end? I missed bits of it.

I had a run in with him about a year ago following a road rage incident near Llanrwst where he was at fault, decided to turn around and chase me down before jumping out all irate, words were exchanged I even got the old “do you know who I am” verbal from him and definitely the language his tv audience wouldn’t like. I think he fancied his chances but when I got out of the car he changed his mind and just tried to provoke me.

He really does think he’s king of the Conwy valley and does suffer from little man syndrome.

His first wife was my first experience of proper frottage when I was 14. She was hot and very experienced for a 14 year old!

It looked to me like the Maserati had a good detailing job done, but then someone had given it a quick polish afterwards and put a few swirls back into it. As for the price, that wasn't too bad I thought !
I didn't understand why they did a full on paint correction & THEN steam clean the engine. Wrong way round unless they just edited it out of order.

Drew tax was added laugh I assumed that was for the extra work to the inside and under bonnet, as I thought the detailer was only looking at the paint to start with.

He does put me off watching it,, he does not have a face for telly, but seems to prevail nonetheless.

That minor, 2 grand for a couple of days painting seems poor deal,, then the roof still had peeling looking paint when they parked it up.

The Maserati, seemed odd in that he spent 12k on keeping it up to scratch , then didn't wash it when trying to sell it.

Indeed. He has a face both for radio and slapping. He is so vain that he sells his cloth cap in his shop. £35 a pop! Plus he thinks it is OK to put cones out on Conwy High Street to allow him to offload his tat into his shop. You need to see the guys that work for him! I'm sure he goes to the local halfway house to find staff! Thank God I won't see him in the pub for a good few years. He assaulted a woman by the way. Proper spangle.

The Moggie? I would have passed on the impressive but silly paint job and spent the money on a 1275cc conversion and disc brakes.

I was surprised they didn't pep up the performance a bit. As you say, 1275 swap and discs could have been done quite cheaply.

Given that they didn't mind doing a full body wrap on the Lancia earlier in the series, I wonder why they didn't just get the same guy to wrap the appropriate sections in something suitable - I'm sure Woolworths used to sell sticky-backed plastic with a wicker pattern. (As I write this, I think someone else said this earlier, but it's too difficult to scroll back to check now). At least the new owner could have removed it when they realised they didn't like it.

I guess part of it, though, is to show the painter and his skills.
