I stopped watching from episode 3 this season. I knew the following episode was Rick’s accident etc. and I did think I might leave the show there.

I’ve binge watched the episodes up to date in the last week and come to the conclusion that THIS IS A BINGE WATCH SHOW. It was great, Rick had his accident, blows st up and gets taken away in a chopper because of mad trash bh.

It should be on Netflix and all episodes banged on there when a new season is done.

Since the fast forward it’s been pretty good. A new threat, communities are now old so need maintenance, relationships in question. Where the feck is Maggie?

Henry is going to form a relationship with this girl in the cells. Will probably backfire quite quickly.

There was some vague reason for her buggering off somewhere. I thonk the actor has left the show.

As have I. I shall check in here from time to time to see if it improves but I really doubt that it will.

I thought Daryl had asked Henry to play the "good cop" role in the hopes of getting more info out of her, so was a set up. Though I guess even with that premise Henry may still start something with her.

I have just started watching the latest series and am confused already, what was the idea behind taking the old cart, plough and canoe from the museum?
Is this in the same vein as in the early series where the old boy would keep having to repair the old motorhome rather than just getting a new one from a garage?

I must’ve missed that. Even so, I can see him getting attached. Young and looking for love, just look at his fixation on Enid until she kissed whatshisface.

She’ll use him. We already know she’s lying about how big the group is.

The cart was purely to prove just how bloody stupid they all are why they should die.

I wasn't I just made a guess. It was a wrong guess, as I thought Daryl had asked Henry to "get to know her", as it turns out Henry just did it to be nice and inadvertently stitched his own community (Kingdom) up in the process if Lydia goes back to her old group.

Very slow boring stuff in the last episode.

In the first season things would have moved at a far greater pace. The girl would have split henry’s Head open like a watermelon, then Daryl would have put an arrow through her eye just like Denise got, there would have been an all out war with these new idiots with loads of decent gore and then we could look forward to something else happening next week.

Instead all we got was the new people pussyfooting around in the woods and then splitting in the middle of the night (good idea?), a load of flashbacks from the captive girl to establish the mother’s story, loads of boring dialogue and no deaths.

And Tara - who the F put her in charge of anything!! The most useless character in the series.

Not watched this for a few years now, but I occasionally pop in to the thread. From the trailer I saw (watching the Passage), the whisperers have finally turned up, then I read the thread.

The scenes with Judith and Negan are cringeworthy.

Although JDM has lost a shedload of weight for the role it seems, but honestly, the scene on the road with Judith and Negan on his bike was just awful.

Zombie apocalypse yes, 10 year old wandering around alone in aformentioned environment and having weapon handling skills to boot, nope.

Alhough I'm taking a liking to the new female "baddie". Like a really bad Carol but with worse teeth.

Indeed, I think we're supposed to think that bullets are so hard to come by they all now use knives and spears etc. So, how come Judith still has access to rounds for her .45?

Are we to think Eugene’s bullet factory isn’t operational? Guns might be noisy but you need them when st hits the fan.

Maybe, but at the least you'd think they'd have a stock pile, they were armed to the teeth at one point, they could just hose all these Whisperers down and get on with gardening......though that may not make for interesting TV. wink

My mum always used to answer the "why didn't they just..." question with "because that's what was written by the scriptwriters" biggrin
