The Barkley Marathons - 9/10

Fantastic documentary about a very quirky and brutal 120 mile race in the US. Really not was I was expecting but great fun.
100% agree, I loved this and whilst I am into running, this was a good insight for people into the mental strength to achieve the near impossible....
Missus and I both enjoyed this, not so much for the running as for the characters. A really simple but well put together insight into some very interesting people.

After a couple of mentions on here, I looked up Rake tonight.

Watched an episode and a half, and having to force myself to switch it off and go to bed.

Good fun stuff.

Apex

Documentary about the supercar / hyper car industry and manufacturers.

Lots of good footage and commentary from Chris Harris, Alex Roy and other good journos.

Worth a watch

It's terrible but I made it through the first one. Won't be going back though!

Binged the first four episodes of Riverdale last night. Based around the old Archie'e Digest comics from way back when, which I used to read when a kid. Though the comics were nothing like the show, which is dark to say the least with murder, teacher/pupil affairs, gangs etc... Will with it for the next few episodes to see how it pans out...
That HUGE splash you just heard was me falling in! No wonder Archie, Jughead AND Josie & The Pussycats are all in the thing!

Same here. As one of the reporters says near the end, you couldn't make up the twists and turns of the trial! Incredible that he was found not guilty (I hope that isn't a spoiler for anyone). According to IMDB there is another 3 seasons in the pipeline?

I loved People V OJ, though I found myself googling the show almost every time, thinking "there's no way that actually happened" but it did. Like the guy on the stand for the defense shaking the hands of the prosecution after he testified. WTF!?

I did the same! was surprised just how accurate they were with the recreation of actual events and likeness to the real people.

Well, there's another court case to feature if this is true, and a parole hearing due later this year!

Great series. The likenesses to the real characters was pretty uncanny. Superbly done
