Were the emergency vehicle sirens we heard immediately after Todd had kiboshed the villain supposed to an immediate response to his injuries? If so, surely the fastest in soap history.

They need to get some actors living in a bubble and being more realistic on screen. Families who live together don't all stand 2m apart in their living room.

Mary was on form though tonight with the smutty innuendo :-)

This new "Todd" is rubbish, as is the potty storyline.

Also the gangster Mick was as scary as Andy Pandy, and apparently was Todd's ex lover.

That’s not Todd!
It's the "new" Todd
But he is being pursued by the gangster - It'll be the plastic surgery he's had to throw them off the scent!

Sorry but this socially distanced Corrie is pants.

Eileen stood 15ft apart from her recently dead son now miraculously arisen with a new face 10yrs older. No hugs or owt, just stood talking at each other without moving..
They then run off keeping 15ft apart

Nick, Steve, Imran all walk into icu waiting area wearing masks them pull them off to talk.

Absolute bonkers lol
Well, we just have to suspend our disbelief. It's as easy to ignore as to notice and I'll cut them some slack - they don't have any alternative do they ? And all credit to them for keeping the show on the road -which they've done far , far more effectively than the Archers managed on Radio 4 .

Am trying but honestly it's sticking out like a sore thumb to my admittedly OCD eyes.
Maybe it's the outdoor scenes that don't work as well such as Eileen and "new" Todd standing so far apart with the bad guy shouting at him from a further 10ft away.

Going back to new Todd it was a bit like "Invasion of the body snatchers" where something wasn't quite right with him...

The missus observed that Corrie will probably be all angst and grief for the forseeable future, as that's the only thing that can be easily portrayed with social distancing.

No more people being knocked over outside the rovers by a speeding car and everyone rushing in to give first aid...

Its the lazy scriptwriters that don't please me. The good old assume x stole the money linewas predictable and badly written. Getting a bit too common.

Fewer storylines, better done, maybe.

Regarding Scott, I saw a darker side to him last night.

My guess (I don't follow spoilers) is he is planning a robbery somewhere and is going to rope Johnny in against his will.....(He could blackmail him over the security van job that he went to the slammer for years ago)

Either that or he is just going to blackmail him anyhow.

Maybe the money collected for sending Oliver to see the specialist?

Found it on YT

I guess he took direction from Shaggy in Scooby Doo. He just needed to shout "ZOINKS!" too.

Wooden Will's new acting academy seems to be placing a lot of its graduates in Corrie recently. RADA must be quaking in its boots!!

I was going to say well deserved, but then can't remember what she was famous for or good at other than Beatty in the BT ads. There must be more to here than that, off to Google....

Anyhow, what happened to Cerberus, is he self-isolating?
IIRC animals can carry Covid so that's possibly it.

I've been watching Corrie on and off for 60 years, and that's the first time I've realised that you can hear normal conversation through someone's front door.
