Watched it on this recommendation, found myself searching for proper beef short ribs. Seems that if you can get hold of them over here you're looking at £100 for a decent rack, sad face.
I've done an entire rack of beef short ribs (Jacob's ladder).

It fed 40, quite happily with sides and some links.

Typically, I buy the ribs individually, smoke them using the 321 method - and each rib will do the job for 2-3 people. They're big!

Song Exploder - How Music Gets Made

Documentary series, each one about a different song. 4 episodes so far, Alicia Keys, Lin-Manuel Miranda, R.E.M., Ty Dolla $ign

I've watched the R.E.M. one about Losing My Religion as they're one of my favourite bands, probably my first favourite band. Bill Berry's in it! smile . If you're an R.E.M. fan there probably isn't much new info in it (Band: we want this song as a single. Record label: WTF there's no chorus and it's a lead mandolin! Do Shiny Happy People) , it might be the same if you're fans of the others. I liked it though.

I'll watch the Alicia Keys episode and probably the Lin Manuel Miranda episode. I have no idea who Ty Dolla $ign is hehe . Hopefully this is a series they add other songs to.

I finished the two seasons of Cobra Kai which i'd seen recommended here. It's a bit cheesy and parts are predictable but it was an easy entertaining watch.

Now just need to find another series to watch on Netflix, not sure what that is though.

Do you get them from the local butcher?

When I said full rack, what i actually meant was 4-6 ribs.

Yeah, I've got a great local Butcher.

However, at the moment (or at least, at the weekend) Waitrose had an offer on short rib and ox cheek (another amazing cut for low and slow smoking).

American Murder.

Jesus Christ.

Not recommended. This will cost me some sleep tonight.
Yes, that was a hard watch, what a proper sick fk.
Utterly horrific, wish I hadn't watched it.
Totally agree, must admit to having a tear in my eye.
Makes me shudder now just thinking about it.
There is a lot of info on the Tinternet on this case. Some of the detail of what he did and during investigation/search for the poor mother and children is actually quite shocking. But what the program did do is show from her side more.
She came across as a bit of a nightmare. But then her suspicions about him cheating were proved correct so she had a right to be.

The kids though, how could you, I still feel sick about it.
I wish I hadn't watched it. Learned nothing. Just profoundly depressing. Personal view and nothing to do with the quality of the programme.

Have you watched The Goldbergs? It's a similar target and not bad

If you want Big Bang but Adult then Silicon Valley was ok too

Keeps coming up.

It's fine, not great, not bad. No real story but passes the time without offending. Up to series 5 and it's still the same. Generally watch it if I can't be bothered to do anything and want to scroll the PH, it's background TV.

Sounds about right. MF went off at the end, but was good to start with. This starts at that level.

It's not on Netflix, so apologies for thread divert, but Ted Lasso on Apple TV has got very favourable feedback (including from myself) over on the Apple TV thread, if you have any way of getting access to that (the show, not the thread, obvs).

The murderer clearly a psychopath. the thing is usually they end up killing themselves sort of shows how the murderer thought they could get away with it.
