I can't keep off this thread, much as I try, but please don't spoiler 13 Reasons Why.
Not that anyone has, just a polite reminder!
We are half way through now, and the missus and I have about two dozen competing theories!
I think that's what's so great about the series. working out what will come next, who's tape, what else could have happened etc.Not that anyone has, just a polite reminder!

Quite annoyed with myself though. Loved the music on there, then I found out that Selena Gomez (some trashy kids pop star) arranged this. Feel like I shouldn't like it now!
Also search on youtube for: Pleaser by Wallow
It's just music, not a spoiler!!!

Apparently there's a second season planned for 13 reasons why. I guess it's an alternative story where the last episode doesn't happen like that or something?
Bring it on.
I'd guess it revolves around the remaining characters. Less to do with suicide, more the drama of that already established cast plus some new ones. Bring it on.
Or a completely new cast and similar principle. Maybe a murder, cult suicide or dare they do a school shooter. There's been some successful shows in the past where they refresh the cast, like Skins.
13 reasons. Binged it.
I'm conflicted. There were some great performances, the mystery element of it was handled very well and the ghastliness built up superbly.
But there were some annoying inconsistencies and tbh the central conceit is pretty bloody appalling when you think about it.
A second season would, I fear, only detract from what was excellent about the first. Leave it there.

watched a coupe of good documentarys last night, one called the guvner about the bare knuckle fighter lenny mclean aka barry the baptist in lock stock. and also another about an extortionist going by the name of sally trying to get half a mill out of tescos. . for those into real crime i also recommend gangsters faces of the underworld and britains underworld too. bith very good. oh and the film about paul ferris called wee man. ... yeah i like crime stuff. just noticed layer cake is on there too. cracking film
Finished the last two 13 Reasons Why last night.
11/10. Just brilliant.
We watched the last two hours in anguished silence (lots of wincing and flinching), and then sat in stunned silence through the documentary afterwards.
I thought it was a complete masterpiece. Arguably it should be compulsory viewing (in a toned-down edit) for teenagers.
Kudos to Netflix for commissioning it and being brave enough to show it, and to everyone involved in producing it.

I think that's the point...especially if you note the date of their interviews, it was before the dreadful deed was done I'm conflicted. There were some great performances, the mystery element of it was handled very well and the ghastliness built up superbly.

Been enjoying Still Game, a Scottish sitcom from 15 years ago about a couple of pensioners and their mates. Some real lol moments.
One of my favourite comedies and absolutely kills me at times. Got them on DVD but end up watching them on Netflix.Pothole said:

Not the sort of thing I would sit and watch, but ok to have on one monitor while I'm doing stuff on the other. Pretty good apart from Elizabeth Moss, didn't like her in West Wing either.

Coincidently I just finished watching all 7 series of this earlier this evening. I had tried to watch it so many times (seen Season 1 about 3 times, and only made it as far as Season 3 previously). Really enjoyed it all the way through this time. Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
