Nevermind the Buzzcocks
Discussion
Daisy May Cooper grated on me to begin with on Taskmaster (I hadn't heard of her prior to that) but I warmed to her, on Buzzcocks she seems like she's on something, way OTT and seems to be constantly fighting for attention.
I'm glad it's back but I'd like Daisy replacing and swap out Jamali Maddix (who I like) with a new (or a series of different jews, I'm not fussed) guest each week, it seems odd to have him as a permanent fixture and unbalances things, especially when he switches sides too.

The bearded guy Jamali seemed like an afterthought, DM Cooper is the nearest thing to Phil Jupitus. I think both are crap. I'm still going with it as the gap could quite easily be taken by my wife and something like "Married at First Sight" but my word it's getting worse by the episode as Daisy continues to ramp up what appears to be a coke-fuelled maniacal screech-fest.
The next lines round seems incredibly hard these days too and not just because it's all new music I haven't heard.
Hopefully they'll do a second season and refine things a little minus Cooper.
I enjoyed the latest one more than previous efforts, DMC didn't seem to get as much limelight and you couldn't always hear her when the camera was on someone else like in previous shows, it happened still obviously but didn't seem as prevalent.
Joe Wilkinson was the highlight.
It's got potential and I'm glad it's back, they just need to ditch Daisy and decide if Jamali is a team captain or a guest, if he's a guest then he needs to be on once and then f-off to make room for someone else, "regular panellist" doesn't cut it for me, the diversity of guests is what makes the show.
I get that they probably need a female team captain now (#metoo or whichever one it is), they never had one previously and you have to tick the boxes these days but they picked the wrong one.
It seemed like they were doing pointless and annoying, random 'lets just aim the camera at X's face for an uncomfortably long pause as we have nothing else to do a shot of' type shots lots in this latest episode & quite often it was when Daisy was putting extra effort into over the top laughing or gurning to the point her head may have popped off due to the choker she had on, & it flowed even more poorly than 1-4 imo
The original they were probably drunk but it was enjoyable, this one has its minor moments but mostly it just seems forced & ott (probably due to panellist/guest choices)

Wish DMC would Run DMC out of the studio and not come back, she's at it again trying to get all the attention laughing at everything, doing that annoying face and slamming her hands on the desk and generally spoiling the show as per normal.
I don't know if I'm just blocking her out without realising but there was only one moment where I recoiled in horror at her shrieking and then it was just the visual distress she causes that took the shine off things.
