I heard my wife sniggering a couple of times when watching it earlier, this probably explains it hehe

Mary: Mother tried to explain the birds and the bees, but when it came to the actual mechanics, it got stuck in her throat.

Just caught up with last Friday's. That was a proper slap from Brendan's wife. Poor Mary.

Likes tonight - Eva's red dress, Sally's "What's this, Spartacus?" when they were all trying to take the blame, and Mary's "we're in luck, we're having mince pies!".

Batty Mary has actually gone doolally, if that's possible.

I don't think it's progressed as far as the entree. He may have felt the dessert blancmange for consistency.

(I got a bit disturbed when the phones were all put in the bowl - I wondered what was going to happen next. I must have believed too many stories from the '70s about car keys......)

That is some top spotting there.

I think after a few months where it seemed a bit lost, Corrie is back on form. My favourite line was when Eva arrived at the party and just handed over a load of knickers to the host and stated 'oh, these are just pants'. Which after a moment made more sense when I realised they weren't her's but were factory samples.

Also are we really meant to believe she has never had to climb into a van in heels before?

"That one's on the house." Liz McDonald dishes out more free drinks in a week than I have seen in 45 years of serious drinking. Has anyone else noticed?

I would guess it was more the super tight long dress that meant her feet could only be 8 inches apart at any 1 time preventing her stepping up
