Didnt think much of any of the cooking from anyone last night, locals included.

I reckon Sandy to go next. Clare is a rung below the other 2. I reckon Tom to win.

David, Tom and Clare were a class above the rest in knockout week so whoever went through with them was likely to go first in finals week so I'm agreeing with you on Sandy.

For me Tom is moving from confident to cocky so I reckon David to win if he doesn't implode with the stress of it all which started to show last night.

Yes, well said.
Sandy's final dish looked embarrassing quite frankly. Three anaemic dumplings chucked on a plate with a tomato sauce? That's not in the slightest bit impressive.

Yeah, those dumplings needed giving a bit of colour in a pan after being boiled, like you would a Pierogi.

I think they were an experiment which didn't work, they did look bloody awful, that restaurant though, wow, the food looked fantastic with decent portions too.

Some fantastic looking creations coming up, it would seem.

Still think they should have had Richard Hearne on though. wink

Why the fetish about creating things that aren't like the thing they're like?

I've never understood, but it may be me.

I’m so lost on this pompous nonsense on every level. I hate it when they talk about precison and cooking a cake - fk off, how about a group visit to Rolls Royce Derby or Mercedes HP engines and we can re-evaluate the comparison of a 1000hp F1 engine and a gateaux because I’m pretty sure one is tougher to make and involves rather more skill than throwing together half a dozen eggs and some flour in the oven at gas mark 3
