I’m afraid after two and a half episodes I’ve binned this series.
It’s just too dull. With the possible exception of Mervyn, the contestants this year are dull as a dull thing, and the hunter force just seem to be having a bit too much luck.
Unless they come up with a new USP for the next series, I can see it being the last.

Me also & its far to scripted they have to go see "someone" like the muppets from warrington / st Helens going to see their dog next week. Behave as if you would go see your dog if it could mean you lose out on 100k.It’s just too dull. series link - delete.
Started to view last nights Episode (3 I think) and have to agree, it’s tosh. Binned it after 30 m8 utes when they knocked on a random door and let themselves in. Seriously this is not hunting for fugitives anymore, it’s trying to make a TV show.
If I was on it, I’d have no plan, tell no one you were on the show and hitch hike as much as you can.

How much of the "powers" they have are like real Police? I'm pretty sure you don't have to unlock your phone for police, and the vehicle telematics from a reg number? The random burner phone and them knowing the number for it to intercept calls etc.
Struggling to watch this without shaking my head at some of the Hunters tricks.

In fairness, most of what they do is pretty much Day 1 stuff for the shadier parts of the police and security services although the “live” CCTV feeds are a bit ridiculous. There are millions of cameras in the UK, many of them stand-alone systems that can only be viewed retrospectively. This idea that the Hunters can “tap in” to CCTV is a bit bks.How much of the "powers" they have are like real Police? The vehicle telematics bit coincided nicely, almost too nicely, with this:

Lots of the powers are way too realtime - like knowing someone's logged into their XBox live account I'm not buying.
But the thing that's killing it for me is the scripting. One couple isn't at an address and the immediate conclusion is they've caught a car to get away. Another woman in the same episode isn't at an address and the immediate conclusion is get the drone up and go door knocking. First front door is locked and declared as suspicious!
Conveniently, both conclusions were accurate.

So a random, stroppy bird knocks on your door and says " I need access to your property!"
The appropriate response if "fk off, who the hell do you think you are?"
This is the most unbelievable series yet.
I'm pretty sure that car manufacturers can't view telematics in real time, so how come the Hunters can?
This is just way too convenient and a fix.
A house door is locked and it's "suspicious"?
I don't now about Miss Moody Chip-on-Shoulder, but I usually lock my doors when I go out...

I sit there watching this getting more frustrated every episode, but yet I keep tuning back in to watch the next one! Each series I watch has the same script… A few make it to the end and as they escape on a speedboat/aeroplane/other mode of transport, the hunters are only seconds away from getting them. hmmmmm.
I would do a spoiler alert re tonight‘s episode, but I’m not sure that would do anything.
Frankie met a random lady who agreed to help her. The random lady called one of Frankie’s friends, who predictably was having her number monitored by the hunters. But then the random lady called one of her own equally random friends, Margaret, yet the hunters were able to know that as well.
Bless Frankie, sat there in a stranger’s house with the backdoor completely unlocked waiting for the hunters to enter. Unless I unwittingly missed her unlock it to try and effect her escape in the suspense of it all.
Anyway, I will tune in next Thursday, that I am sure of

And, miraculously, the hunters decided that the couple might be missing their dog, just at the time when the decided that they were missing their dog.
I think the camera man is a double agent.
Fair play to Frankie's bloke, he clears fences like they're not even there. Q
Impressive hurdling. Obviously pretty fit. This springs to mind.I think the camera man is a double agent.

I've heard of the show several times, planned to watch it, I watched about 10 mins the other night where the couple were meeting their dog, the guy kept gloating that they had no idea where they were, I wanted him to get caught as he came across as a right bell.
Will probably start from season 1.
