New sci-fi, releases today
Cheers, will check it out.
That does look very promising - just peeked at the first two or three minutes - cannot wait!
The original book art and the 'live' version compare really well, they did a great job transferring the concept to screen.

I found “The Commish” last night while having a search around.

Fans of ”The Shield” (like me) may have heard of it, as it also stars Michael Chiklis. In this he’s the police commissioner of a small town in upstate New York. It ran for 5 season from 1991 and it looks like Amazon have at least up to season 4 available. I watched the first episode and it’s pretty good actually. 4:3 aspect ratio and NTSC picture quality aside.

Chiklis is almost unrecognisable from his Machiavellian character in The Shield. He worked out for 6 months and shaved his head for that role & it’s obvious to see.

I need a new series to watch, and after enjoying The Outsider on Sky Atlantic, I’m tempted to start Mr Mercedes. Is it worth getting into?
Very much so, Mr Mercedes is awesome

Check out Castle Rock as well, pretty decent if you're into Mr Kings universe thumbup

There's 2 seasons out so far - https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/castle_rock

I've started watching The OC again, after having watched it on its original run 17 years ago when I was roughly the same age as the portrayed characters. Pretty enjoyable light hearted stuff, as it's not normally a genre I enjoy. It's also fairly easy on the eye wink

Just watched episode two. I feared my sides were going to split with laughter.

Seriously though, that ending... OMG...

That part of the story is picked up in later episodes.
Just finished the series and really enjoyed it, would recommend it for anyone looking to kill a few hours.

I did like that but by god is Boyd Crowder annoying.

It was only after i finished it that I realised that he was Agent 47 in Hitman. He looks different with a bald head

Maybe because Boyd Crowder is played by Walton Goggins and Agent 47 is Timothy Olyphant (Raylan Givens)

Sorry I should have defined those two sentences a bit better so it was clear I was talking about two different people.

We've just started Blind Spot, pretty good so far, the main character is pretty sassy, and Lewis Hamilton is very good in his first proper acting role as the main Doctor. smile
