A bit leftfield and not as iconic a movie but the scene from Sideways where the Saab crashes into the tree. I actually let out an audible "wooh".

The scene from Dead Man's Shoes where they go to the farm to confront him, things go wrong and Paddy stretches his arms out, axe in hand. A great insight into the mindset of a fearless man who truly had lost it. Menacing.

The quick mirror glance from the bad guy in Bullitt when he realises Steve McQueen is now following him. Does a double take and the iconic chase scene kicks in.

Many of Michael Mann's films make for visually stunning cinema - Thief, Manhunter, Heat, Last of the Mohicans, Collateral.

John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn in True Grit

Squaring up to the four baddies across the plain

Ned Pepper : What's your intention? Do you think one on four is a dogfall?
Rooster Cogburn : I mean to kill you in one minute, Ned. Or see you hanged in Fort Smith at Judge Parker's convenience. Which'll it be?

Then charging at each other jousting style, guns a blazing with Wayne reloading his Winchester single handed, reins in teeth.

Sends a shiver up my spine just thinking about it

I watched it the other day to trial my new A/V speakers and it is still fantastic - doesn't seem to have dated as much as other 90s stuff.

Just been watching a yt vid and it reminded of another moment in the endgame fight. Similar to the Pegasus saving the Galactica, when THanos ship starts firing into the sky and you think, 'wth!' and then CM bursts onto the screen, that was electric.
