"I never cry, last time I cried was when West Ham lost the FA Cup Final to Liverpool"

He cried when he got sent down and claimed he cried himself to sleep in his cell most nights - knob hehe

What did he do?

Where is the guy who had all the gossip?

Griff was a prick.

I note they hardly showed Dwayne and Twee - reckon they wanted to stay out of it after their appearances last time?

I felt bad for Griff. Seems quite bright, very bored, depressed even and being treated like a child so acting up accordingly. Not helping himself though, especially in turning down the chance to do some standup which probably would've made it onto the TV.

Enjoyed that. Some good new characters. Odd that his son was not in the previous series.

The 'tattoo fan' was hard to like - seemed she couldn't accept being part of the team?

Nev's (well fed) son doesn't seem to have Dad's charisma, so taking over the reins one day might be an issue if he wishes to follow the old man's style. And organising an in-house ping pong 'competition' seems a bit removed from proving oneself in a dynamic sales environment (especially when everyone knows you're the boss's chosen one).

The treatment of the stuttering chappie was, however, classic. If a little non-PC. And thus better for it.

I reckon that Urshulla girl was on drugs, either when the show was being filmed or in the past. Her head's broken.

The dude with a stutter I see all the time, walking between Killay and Town. Always got a smile on his face, headphones in, looking pretty happy smile

Eta: Actually, now I think about it, he must have been on his way to work when I've seen him, judging by his clothes. Bloody long way to walk from Killay.

Why do you think Thorpey was pissing himself laughing?

was reading on Linkedin last night.
It seems that his son became CD towards the end of last year, when another chap (cannot remember his name) but never seen him before became MD. Almost as if a position was created for him after the success of the last show.

He seems good at creating positions, the tea lady for instance. She must have dodgy photos of him or he must have the horn for her cause she seems to be errrr not very good.

I assumed the office is at the enterprise park. That is a long trek!

What is a commercial director exactly.

Nev did well with the stutter lad anyhow? I don't think he would have got passed the hr stuff. Which seems way over the top for a job like that!

Horrible programme with attention seeking people acting up for the cameras.
The silly tea girl is past her sell by date now.

yes

If his son was there throughout, surely it would of made reference to him in the past episodes? "Business is a family affair, Heres Nev's son working from the bottom up..."

In regards to the tea lady, I think its a good idea. Surely keeping everyone refreshed at their stations is better than leaving them wonder about to refresh themselves. The fact that she knows everyone and seems a good craic can only be good for Morale.

From what I hear she is as bonkers as she comes across on the show, she does actually know everyone there and all the office gossip too, it would appear she's a pretty important part of the set up.

Nev was on Radio Scotland the other day and said both his sons work in the company and have for a long time, neither wanted to be filmed in the first series, the youngest reluctantly agreeing to be part of the new series. He aslo admitted business is down quite a bit this year partly because he took his eye off the ball a bit due to the amount of time the filming and media attention took up

Nonsense, a certain government "grant" entitling you to free something or other (boilers I think) came to an end, they were selling that and when it stopped on a certain date it basically halved his workforce.

I'll speak to my mate that worked there about the son, seems a bit convenient that he's now the "heir to the empire" and yet he wasn't even mentioned before, if he didn't want to feature he didn't have to, surely they would of mentioned him/them though?
