S4 EP9, wow just wow what a delight that was to watch.

It should have finished when the clock chimed 4 times, that would have been a right cliff hanger ending. It didn't need the last 30 mins in this season.

I thought the same at first but I do like that each series has essentially been a standalone thing that wraps up at the end. By far the biggest complaint on social media seems to be that they basically skipped an entire episode by doing the '2 days later' thing, people seemed to want closure for Eddie. I don't think that's all done with yet though, and if this series was anything to go by they aren't exactly short of time to finish it off in S5 however they plan to. Remarkably strong final episodes though, it's not often a TV show running for that long can stick the landing like that.

Can't disagree with that, such a great season and season 5 has some work to better that, Strange thing is biggrin the Kate Bush song really made certain scenes explode and they got the music bang on.

Just finished Season 4, epic season finale!! Wow, hairs on the back of the neck bristling several times through the season.

Some incredibly well directed scenes and quite powerful stuff. Found myself literally rooting for Max.

Epic.

And apparently the people who saw the episodes as soon as they were available missed on some cgi that they changed at the last minute. Yes, stranger things season 4, part 2 had a day one patch.

Season 4 has been exceptional TV.
The writing, direction, editing have been so effective that I find myself really immersed in what’s happening on screen. At one point I shouted ‘NO’. Can’t remember the last time a TV show made me do that.

Edit: Millie Bobby Brown has been a real find. It can’t be easy casting children to star in a series that will run for years. She has turned out to be a brilliant young actress.

Was a great season overall, but the ending of EP9 seemed really rushed to me. It's like they'd run out of time at 2 and half hours and though "Oh st, we still need to setup for next season"

They could have easily split the last episode into 3 separate ones.

I was shouting "shotgun, shotgun".
Yes, Millie is excellent.

It was brilliant for the moment although with it being Eddie and the tape he'd held up previously I was hoping for Fear of the Dark

The scene witheddie playing master of puppets was amazing. One of my fav tv moments ever. Two of them bobbing heads while the bats flew towards them was awesome

Was a great scene, and a nice break from listening to the cat strangler.

But the big question everyone wants the answer to is how long was the extension lead to get some power into the upside down?

Very short, if it came via the portal in the ceiling of the RV.

Just watched E4 of the current season. It's basically A Nightmare on Elm Street. Then I noticed Robert England played the Lecter role. This season is OK, but the episodes need to be cut by 20 minutes or so IMO.

Finished Series 4 yesterday.

I'd echo some of the points already made. Some of the episodes (especially 8 and 9) are much longer than they need to be. As a result you have some cracking moments in each episode which are surrounded with way too much padding. I thought the characters of Dustin and Erica were great.

Definitely worth a watch.

I enjoyed most of the new season but loved the final 2 episodes.

It was tense and funny in the right places. I think they made the right choices side-lining some of the cast to let the new characters shine.

Have last episode of the series to watch, started out good, deteriorated a bit in my opinion but has picked up again, basically throughly enjoyed it, so far.
