I was listening r1 and they were discussing Jed's response to the furore. Which was essentially it wasn't as bad as SM is making out. It's audience score was only 7 points below the previous lowest scoring episode.

So there you go. Not that bad at all apparently! biggrin
So it was the worst episode...or am I reading that wrong? Sounds like its got a long way to go before its sucking diesel again.

Yes exactly. The most positive spin he could muster was that it was only 7 points behind their previous worst ever smile

Maybe worth an "Endings" thread of its own - here's my list
MOST EXCELLENT
- Six Feet Under
- Mad Men
PRETTY, PRETTY GOOD
- Breaking Bad
- The West Wing
SORRY NO REFUNDS
- Line of Duty
- Game of Thrones
- Lost
- Dexter
WTF???
- The Prisoner
- The Sopranos
The Sopranos ending was good, Tony died and most of his crew. Would of been crap if they all went off into the sunset

Yes - there's a very good explanation out there.

Although at the time I was a bit gutted it all makes sense in the end

Essentially David Chase said that the sudden jump to black was Tony being killed instantly, i guess there was some confusion as to what happened to the rest of the family but yeah Tony dies.

The Line of Duty ending was perfect – you just don’t know it yet

Sort of sums my feelings up about it actually.

I have a question, was it ever answered why Hastings was on the phone to Buckles before he was nicked.

Can we please have a separate thread for different series endings that we may or may not have seen?!

Yup, I’ve just got sky access and had noticed Sopranos. Wont bother now. At least use the spoiler tags!

Jed doesn’t seem to be taking feedback too well laugh

Earlier on in that season there was a scene where Tony is a bit philosophical and asks (I think Paulie?) what do they think happens when you die, is that it? Just poof and nothing. And I think he refers to a blackness or something. I remember the comments sort of tying in up that final scene which I thought was perfect.
