Wheeler Dealers

It was OK, Elvis must have read the comments on his welding on here, he subcontracted it out to the body shop. Why did he not just repaint all the door trims in the original colour rather than matching the worn paint?
That was some business stocking LR parts
Looked good when it was finished though and not expensive for a low mileage car I thought, what do the LR owners on here think?

Mike, they hold a stock value of £140 Million on the shelves.
They'll probably get broken into next week.
I liked it though, but as usual not many of the repairs shown. It only does a few hundred miles a year and had only done 16,000 miles back in 2015, even now at the last MOT in June, it's not on 17,000 yet.

This is starting to bug me now - they continually made a big deal about the rot on the top of the wheel arch by the inside of the door stating that it would fail an MOT because of this but subsequently failed to show its repair being done.I understand they have limited time but can they really not spare 10/15 seconds of the start/end of the repair?

The watch thing bugs me, he wears it right on the knuckle of his wrist too and it isn't small . Wonder if its product placement with some company he's associated with.
Given how is sleeve was folded back in this episode to show it off I really suspect it is a placement deal.SpeedBash said:

The body mount too. Big fuss about getting it and then the bodyshop fit it off screen. I understand they have limited time but can they really not spare 10/15 seconds of the start/end of the repair?

Why does Elvis wear the same clothes every episode? Has he only got that green sweatshirt to work in ?
Think it's for continuity and on the same note. Mike has been wearing that Levi's jacket for years as well as those blue Martini replica driving shoesAlso, you will see some of the other cars outside the workshop when they show the aerial / drone shots. In an older one I saw the Audi Allroad & the Fiesta RS Turbo from the dream car series.
Right now there's one under a black cover so that's probably one on a future episode.

I keep thinking he is asking for trouble with his nice watch so exposed, easy to get it damaged
