Fair play to the lad, he had it down from minute one. No hesitation on throwing others under the bus when required, especially when Paul went bold and it backfired.

Shame Mollie fell for trusting him... that's part of the game. Why would Jaz vote to banish again if he was a traitor?!? I suppose the pressure gets to you though. Not sure i'd stand there and hold my nerve at that age on TV with nearly £100k at stake.

Harry was brutal on Mollie, she nearly got him out as well
Just finished watching it last night.

Yeah it seemed brutal on Mollie but that's the game and why Harry won. What Mollie was going through at the end there was as good an example I've seen of someone battling head vs heart. You could see the cogs turning, she got there but her heart stepped in and she ultimately let that win.

Still, I don't feel bad for her as I suspect she'll be able to build a pretty good career off the back of this better than any of the others could.

I said that, but suppose if him and harry were both traitors he would be trying to oust the other one to take all the money.

100% she came across really well and likeable, not your usual celebrity wannabee

I can't read this thread as we are now watching Traitors Aus (we already watched US last year)

It seems to me that for any Traitors show on each day the last 2 people down to breakfast are the 2 faithful not murdered so proof they are faithful.
I’m pretty sure thats not the case every time (producers clearly select the breakfast entry order for maximum drama) but even if it were true thats not much use to the faithfuls who dont see what we see on TV.

The logistics for making the Traitors must be a nightmare.

When faithful receive a letter it is always in the same room so do faithful see each other going in and out?

When contestants are speculating about traitors and say something juicy does it need more than 1 take?

When the traitors go back to the accommodation are they locked in their rooms for the night and how is it hidden then traitors are driven back to the castle?

Now watching Traitors Australia from Season 1 so having to avoid spoilers. In Traitors Australia in one episode the task ended in the dark and then later that day they went back to the hotel and it was daylight. Contestants also referred to events happening last week and not yesterday. Do they go home between filming?

I'm wondering if they all film a scene receiving a letter at the start? I need to go watch it back but quite often the clothing in that scene doesn't match, bit like the apprentice sure I read somewhere that they film the taxi scene at the start.

Looking at the camera angles I’d say most of the exchanges between contestants are done with multiple takes. Like on the apprentice.
You don’t see the ‘other’ camera in the background which you would expect. (Other than the many robotic ones)
The mobile camerawork is good too - little shaking and no zooming out of focus that you would expect from ‘fly on the wall’ type filming.
It’s all very well crafted

Also, seemingly ’simple’ tasks take ages as evidenced by failing daylight as the tasks progress - this shouldn’t happen in the middle of summer unless you are doing multiple takes as you reconstruct arguments and discussions.

There are a huge number of runners listed in the closing credits - presumably being minders / eyes & ears to capture all discussions outside of the castle. It’s a big operation and must cost £££s

The 'murder' happens in the morning. The contestants are driven to the castle in seperate vehicles and then led individually into the room. You either go in and do a piece to camera, then go for breakfast, or get your letter and you're dead.

All the contestants stay in a hotel near Inverness Airport - it's a 45 minute drive from the castle.

Contestants are all holed up in their rooms once they get there, with crew watching the door.

Traitors are subsequently taken back to the castle for their bit and then returned back.

Sounds like a lot of faff, but I don't think they're at the castle late after the round table so it's not like the Traitors are up until 2am driving backwards and forwards.

I was looking the other day none of them seem to wear watches, presume that is to throw off what time it actually is for filming.

I had avoided watching any of this series so I could just plough straight through it. However, the BBC news has the winner's identity as a featured article, and even Match of the Day's social media had Gary Neville talking about them earlier. I appreciate the series is over, but that seems a bit clumsy/soon for people watching on catch up.

It’s unreasonable to expect nobody to talk about this on TV or social media, just watch it while it’s on or shortly after. I recorded the last episode and watched it as soon as I could because obviously such a high profile TV programme would be discussed on TV and social media.

Aus2 has created a new high bar.

Never have I wanted to punch someone from the telly more...

And having just watched the utterly brilliant last episode, it's rare I've cackled with laughter more at the twists and turns.

I'm sure there's been a huge amount of coverage, but I've not seen/heard it. They're normally pretty good at managing it, alerts on radio / tv shows and warnings on articles.

Watching season two of the US one, so far it seems to be made up solely of reality TV contestants and John Bercow…
