I haven’t watched many of the latest series (after it went to the US and then returned) but I’ve been watching some of the old S7 episodes that are in Quest and they have a more honest approachability about them, with a bit less of the pretension.

Probably helps that Edd comes across as a much more genuine person than his replacements.

Only noticed after the second ad break, the footage which is reused of Mikes soft-roading it looks like he’s being towed through the watery grass track hehe

I saw that. He didn't seem happy about it either.

I couldn’t give a fk about the what watch someone is wearing. It’s a car show not one on how to protect your accessories. . Perhaps like me, Elvis couldn’t give a fk.
The evidence would suggest quite the opposite hehe

Does seem a bit overkill. Any BiB`s on here that might know what the offence would be ?

The camera car was stopped on TG a few times and asked for filming licence etc, but is that needed everywhere?

Good to see Car Dealer magazine being completely unbiased..........

Is it overkill, he is driving and filming a piece to camera, I think they have a right to make sure what he is doing is safe and legal.

We are seeing a 20 second clip, we do not know what went on before so it is hard to comment.

True. I initially thought it was a stunt for the show, but he was a bit irate on his Insta post.

Finally got around to watching the BRZ episode. Cracking result. No idea how it happened. No mapping, a cursory look at him holding the turbo kit vaguely near the engine was what we got. But they managed to stick in a 5 minute packing peanuts in a glass explanation of how a turbo works for 5 year olds. EVERYONE watching that knows how a turbo works.

I audibly said fk off watching that.

It's clear who the show is aimed at, idiots. Either that or it's intentionally insulting the intelligence of its viewers.
