Does seem a bit overkill. Any BiB`s on here that might know what the offence would be ?
Is it overkill, he is driving and filming a piece to camera, I think they have a right to make sure what he is doing is safe and legal.
T-pack with an unmarked car though ?
We are seeing a 20 second clip, we do not know what went on before so it is hard to comment.
The clip I watched was only 12 seconds. It told me very little, and cut off as soon as there was audio of the crew in the camera car speaking (I presume) to the police in the unmarked unit. All I got was "there's nothing illegal..."

Questions, questions. Brewer may well have "been doing nothing illegal" at the time he was pulled over. But we've all seen these car shows where the presenter "gives it the beans" while overtaking the camera car on seemingly open public roads. Who knows if it's "production trickery" to make things look fast (lenses, angles, etc) or if they're actually caning it. Maybe somebody called the police and "over egged the pudding" in what they reported? Maybe these officers, or perhaps another unit, witnessed what they felt was some form of dangerous/reckless/careless driving? Unless Brewer, or the production company, decide to share the entire, unedited filming session for us to judge for ourselves, then we'll never know whether, in the opinion of any reasonable person, the stop, and the way it was executed, were justified or not. Just because there were no charges resulting from the stop, doesn't mean it was unjustified to carry it out. By the same token, he could be right, and it was a ridiculous over-reaction by overzealous RPU officers on a power trip...

Just catching up with the latest series on Discovery - how on earth did that Fiesta have an MOT when he bought it?

Does Elvis have any other clothes?
That green hoodie with the thumb holes worries me.

All for continuity reasons, they are doing 5/6 projects at once.

He literally does no work. The one of him angle grinding then welding replacement metal on the cills of a (can’t remember, Italian thing like a fiat I think) was ridiculous - those of us who have done so know you get covered in crap yet there he was clean as a whistle. Total fantasy

This week, Audi RS6 Avant, a good episode, do they actually give the car service, surely that should be included in the price. Either way I still enjoyed it.

When the car was at the trimmers, in the background was a green sports car (29:00 minutes) anyone got any ideas what it is, looked like a classic Aston Martin, but sure I’m wrong.

Certainly put me off owning one not that it’s my sort of car anyway. Only 67k on the clock but the price of replacements is not for the faint hearted.

Love these RS6, especially in this colour. Episodes are so dumbed down these days though. Barely any spannering. Loads of costs missed off. Clean as a whistle 'Elvis' with his cuff tucked back in every shot to display his red watch etc. Just fast forward most of it. Car SOS has its faults but is so much better.

That's probably why they don't say the man hours at the end anymore, last nights would have probably only been a couple of hours. More to re do the headliner etc, but they farmed that out.

I agree that Car SOS is miles better (apart from some of the rubbish acting they make Tim do)

Did anyone else think the car almost hitting the toolboxes as it was being driven back into the workshop was a load of old bks?

Quite enjoyed this one, some car, definitely a speeding ticket giver, just not enough repairing being shown, that’s what happens when you let American beancounters loose on a company.

Yes, agree why drive in so fast in the first place

Don’t think they make him do it, think it is his idea, similar to some of the stupid ideas he had on the model railway show he presented, some of the items he supplied to be included in the layout were just silly, some of the contestants just treated it with disdain and refused to include the item despite getting extra points for using the item.

Yeah maybe it's just him then. He sure has some strange ideas!

Yup especially as when the car was revving to 3k rpm the time on the clock was 12.29 and then after his seal fix they show the car sitting at 750 rpm with the same time of 12.29.

Plus looked as the the inside front tyre was worn down to the cords when they had it in the air

I noticed that too, looked a bit like a DB4 GT Zagato, possibly a recreation rather than an original?

I’ll take your word for that. I don’t pay much attention to what someone’s wearing or how clean their fingernails are rofl
