I didn't notice on Sunday that all the driving school cars were from the same school of motoring.

I've been down roads where there have been 2 or 3 cars all from the same school practising 3 point turns or reverse parking. They have favourite roads and they always use them. It might have been set up for the cameras only because they had already been blocking up the road 15mins before they got there.
Daily Mail in "but it's not real" cry baby shocker. Do they employ 12 yr olds to write their stories these days?

Ridiculous. I didn't notice on Sunday that all the driving school cars were from the same school of motoring.

It was quite clearly fake (as most of Top Gear is), but I knew that when I saw it. I still enjoyed it regardless. In fact I enjoy every episode, just some more than others.
I must confess, the driver of one of the learner cars confidently reversing on mirrors alone whilst chewing away on chewing gum with his mouth open (ewwww) kind of gave it away a bit. Edited by JonRB on Tuesday 13th March 19:52

Top Gear said today the show was ‘not a documentary and the viewers are intelligent enough to know some elements of the programme are for entertainment.I didn't notice on Sunday that all the driving school cars were from the same school of motoring.
and
"A BBC spokesman said at the time: 'As an entertainment programme, Top Gear prides itself on making silly films that don't pretend to represent real life.
'Any suggestion it deliberately misled viewers is patently ludicrous.'"
Well, quite.
It makes me smile that there are so many on here lambasting The Daily Mail for their comments, when PH is probably 10 x more guilty of coming out with almost identical comments week after week.
And anyway, May's comment still stands. They were real cars, and they were on real roads. Or was it all CGI?

I wasn't paying attention, but I'm sure Chris Evans said this morning that he doesn't own the Ferrari anymore. Must have been about 7.15, did anybody else hear it or is it my imagination?
That story on themail website quotes one of the instructors as saying it was filmed in November 2009 so he would have still had it then but it's true that he has since sold it and the other white Ferrari's. I'm quite suprised that it took this long to show it though.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
