Oh god his soldering is as bad as his welding smile

Switched it off for the Italian racetrack sequence just not interested.

Bought new did 40k miles needed new engine and gearbox, did another 40k and the crankshaft pulley was goosed, hardly a glowing example of Italian cars.

Will get tin hat for the following slagging from Alfa owners, not my cup of tea but I suppose a Merc is not theirs.
Didn’t that mileometer show 17#,000 miles ?

Second time round. MoT checks it as 176k

That’s interesting so the second engine has done £130k? I always thought the Italians were good at building engines it was the bodywork that let them down. Nearly bought a lancia Delta a long time ago, that would have been a big mistake although I liked the car.

That was the strangest sounding Alfa busso 3.0 I have heard.

The second engine was replaced by Alfa I’m sure they said it’d done 40k since

I was going to post that, they have one of the best sounding engines out there and dub stupid sound effects over the video when on track, of what sounded like a 4 cylinder engine. laugh

Check out the MOT history. Failed every year from 2006 some on little things like bulbs but the CV gaiters were every other year. Original owner clearly didn't love it that much or do basic checks.

Absolutely - history is as bad as anything I’ve ever seen!

They have really dumbed it down this series. I want cars getting fixed, not 20 -30 minutes of waffling.

Also, the GTV Cup, didn't they only come in red? They didn't mention that. They didn't mention how nose heavy they are either.

Yup, Edd China must be laughing his head off, his prediction way back was correct.

I was watching the Morgan episode the other day when Edd replaced the chassis, so much better to watch

I think so too. It's a real shame.

I recorded that one as I remember that I liked the car. I've re watched a few old ones recently as I still like them.

They did well only spending £700 on parts, as every suspension part, front, rear, left and right was rotten.

I've been watching Wheeler Dealers since day 1 and I really do think it has lost its way with the current line up, I just can't warm to "Elvis", he does almost nothing and brings almost nothing to the show.

I can watch the Edd China programmes over and over again (not so much when he went Stateside) and I can just about watch Ant a couple of times until I get fed up with the slightly strange presentation, but although I watch the new series' once, I just cannot watch them over again.

This last series has been so poor, with the GTV episode being the pinnacle of steness.

I don’t mind any of the mechanics. I liked Edd, really liked Ant and Elvis is Ok. The lack of actual mechanicing (is that a word?) is poor

Mike’s bits are much the same as they ever have been but the work in the workshop is lacking. The bits they do show us in a bit more detail are the less interesting bits and what would be nice is just mentioned in passing or just spotted as done in the background

In the Edd shows and with Ant to a lesser extent you often felt like you learned a little bit too

The extended test drives/poncing about at the end are too long now too

Like others have said, I have watched from day 1 and rewatch the Edd and Ant episodes over and over. The Elvis ones I watch but don’t find myself rewatching

It’s a shame

The only interesting bits are when they get specialists involved, who the presenter (mechanic) is doesn't really matter to me
I didn't like Ed,Ant overacted and had strange mannerisms and Elvis is lke an excitable child.....yet still I watch it lol

Tbh none of the presenters/mechanics have ever bothered. Just the lack of detail of the work done bugs me
