Another recommendation for "13 minutes to the Moon". I beleive it is only on BBC Sounds but well worth downloading.

Lineker and Baker Behind Closed Doors is a good listen, purely because they don't really talk about upto date football, it's just general old stories and some random chat mixed in. Good one for a journey home listen.

Has anyone suggested The Missing Cryptoqueen from the BBC?:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p07nkd84/episodes...

I'm totally hooked. It's about OneCoin which was pitched as being a Bitcoin killer but is in reality incredibly shady. Very well put together podcast...

What are the good car-related podcats at the moment? I've done all of the Collecting Cars ones with Harris and really enjoyed them.

What else is out there for the auto enthusiast?
The Smoking Tire?

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL0NpLqqFBFS...

The episode with Ben Collins was particularly good.
As above, the smoking tire is a good one, I started from the beginning a couple of years ago, I'm still waaaaay behind, but there's some real funny stories of their exploits.

The ones with Michael Bam Bam White are awesome.

Also listen to tentenths, slip angle show (not to be confused with "the slip angle/the corded tire" bandwagon jumping, unimaginative garbage) kibbe and friends, Gareth Jones, and speed secrets.

+1 from me - It's pretty gripping, to the point where I was really annoyed that Friday's release has been moved to today... I can totally recommend this

I've been lookin for some new podcasts for a while. Always a good way to pass a 35-40 minute commute so I've just followed Gossipmongers on Spotify. Looking forward to giving it a go tonight.

I've not trawled right back through the thread and I assume someone else will have recommended it already but just in case they haven't, I'd give Athletico Mince a very positive review. You don't have to like football to enjoy it and they have had me bellowing out in laughter many a time.

I binge listened to Gossipmongers over the course of last week after seeing it recommended it in here. It's unbelievable, some of the gossip/stories had me almost unable to breathe I laughed so much. Len and the naughty widow is a particular highlight hehe

Probably been mentioned but the Fighter Pilot Podcast is worth a listen if you are into military jets.

Tunnel 29 via BBC R4's Intrigue Podcast is very good & topical at the moment - it's about tunnels (unsurprisingly) under the Berlin Wall in the '60's.

It's ok and everyone seems to report they are howling with laughter. I found the way they starts cackling uncontrollably over things that aren't really that funny really annoying.

I'm enjoying 2bears 1 cave at the mo....that's more my humour, less slapstick, more borderline racist, antisemitic etc...but in a fun way.

Listened to a "Science Vs..." one driving home the other day, I think that was from a recommendation from here. On a topic I was interested in it was ok, but really annoyingly put together with about 5 minutes at the start talking about what they're going to be talking about, and the whole ting could have been done in about a third of the time. I might try one more to see if they vary a bit but I'm not impressed so far.

On the other hand "13 Minutes to the Moon" was excellent and "The Life Scientific" and "The Infinite Monkey Cage" episodes were up to their usual standard.

I've been really frustrated by the first couple of episodes of the current series of Rutherford and Fry's Curious Cases. They're now just full of padding. Just audio recording of them chatting. Haven't learnt anything from them.

If you like true crime Dr Death is truly compulsive-if a little stomach churning. Also the Fred and Rose West Tapes and Hunting Warhead.

Has anyone mentioned The Ratline? It's been out for a while but I only just listened. Very well told story about a Nazi war criminal on the run.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06lh2b5

It's on the same podcast feed (Intrigue) as Tunnel 29 which I'm told is very good too. That's next on my list...

Recently discovered GOSSIPmongerS. Hilarious, haven’t laughed so much at a podcast since My Dad Wrote A Porno. The stupid robot voice between stories needs to be dumped ASAP, but otherwise I find it very funny indeed.
