Loved it.

Whisper it, but I remain a huge fan of Kevin Spacey.
Me too, such a shame he's ended up struck off the casting list. I can't even remember what he was supposed to have been up to know but certainly miss his on screen performances.

Allegedly. Never convicted and all cases dropped.

Iron Fury

Q: do you like Tanks?
Can you over look some terrible English over Russian voice dubbing?
Can you switch your brain off to some rather fanciful underdog plot lines?
Did you like the film Fury with Brad Pitt and/or Band of Brothers?
Do you really really like tanks fighting at close quarters, lots of special (and not so special sometimes) effects, and slow-mo missile strikes?

A: you might just really like this! - Its pretty much action all the way through and was a massive smash in Russia.
Looks good, but not free on Prime?
I think I’ve dropped a clangger!

...looks like I watched it on Sky Movies then - sorry about that

Not a new show, quite old actually, but enjoying “Arrested Development” at the moment. Dysfunctional family fun, plus Lyndsay is a hottie !

Godfather of Harlem with the excellent Forest Whitaker playing Bumpy Johnson. Great music, good cast, only watched one episode but really like this.

Somebody many pages back recommended Bosch as a result of which I'm on full binge mode and enjoying it greatly. So, ta!

Well it seems like The Professionals is on there, and totally remastered.

That's me sorted until March.

Also, S1, E4... Diane Keen :-)

I watched The Whiskey Bandit last night.

A foreign film with subtitles based on the true life events surrounding a East European bank robber in the late 90s/early 2000s who became a folk legend for armed robberies where he would never shoot anyone........
Watched this last night based on your recommendation. Really enjoyed it; thanks for the tip thumbup
Q. What's better than enjoying a good film?

A. Recommending it and then finding someone else has enjoyed it.

Thanks for that smile

Third series of The Wine Show on Prime now. Like Top Gear for wine except with no asshattery hehe

I think the first series can be found on Netflix, worth starting there if you have never seen it before. thumbup

Yeo, having read all the books, I watched all the series online during the first lockdown.
Highly recommended.

I've just finished watching both series of The Good Doctor. I enjoyed it, but I guess many wouldn't be interested.

The funny thing is that all of them were supposed to be having individual shows coming to Prime and so far it is only May, twice.

Don't get me wrong he is a good presenter, and we liked his Japan series, but where are the other two?
Think based on Drivetribe James's did alot of videos there on youtube and also got many views. Think overall he is the presenter that does additonal programmes that are a success like james mays toys etc

Or maybe the other two cant be bothered..
Last I read, Clarkson was filming ‘I bought the farm’ at the beginning of the year, and Hammond was doing something stuck on a desert island with Tony Belleci from Mythbusters. I could see covid impacting both. Certainly at the moment neither is in the December schedule.

What is, though, is “The Grand Tour Presents: A Massive Hunt” on the 18th, in case anyone missed the announcement.

I'd like to watch this, but it seems to be on an additional subscription channel.
I'm getting pissed off with Amazon pushing shows and films at additional cost, getting to the point where the prime subscription seems lacking in value.
