The Harvard only policy is out the window anyway isn't it - Rachel's not studying at Harvard (although admittedly she's not employed as a full on lawyer yet).
Yes, and it was more recently abandoned when they couldn't get any new law students to apply for jobs - hence Louis calling around all the other law schools to try to get some.Antony Moxey said:
I still think we could see Mike take a law degree inside and then be accepted as being rehabilitated inside and keen to do work helping others when he gets out
Maybe, but if one of the requirements of passing the bar is to attend law school for at least a year, I wonder how that would work. Maybe with a tag.Another future option is that Mike returns to work but not as an actual lawyer, more of an adviser, paralegal, or whatever they're called. Lots of the work there is done by unqualified people, there's no reason that (assuming they have any customers left) he couldn't work in the background advising the rest. Might be harder to make it interesting.
I've been trucking through this on Amazon video over the last couple of weeks, I found season one to be a bit on the weak side as I felt that it suffered from them trying to get a case-of-the-week structure to work and Mike's secret didn't really seem to add much to the show other than providing an excuse for exposition about legal intricacies but from season two onwards it really comes into it's own IMHO - I've got one episode to go of Season 5 now and I'm fricking loving it

So is it just film stories when we see prisoners gaining law degrees while inside and that that could never actually happen in real life?
It canhttp://www.careeroverview.com/blog/2010/7-famous-i...

Firstly, Blacklist Spoiler so don't read on....................................................the above is what they have done with a key character here. She's back at work but in an advisory capacity and I can see little changing in the overall storyline tbh.Well I watched the season five finale last night - the writers really have nuked the whole landscape haven't they? Can't wait to see where they take it now in season six, from what I've been able to suss out from reading bits on the web it sounds pretty interesting:
[spoiler]They have said that although they are still finalising their plans that Mike will be in prison for a substantial part of the new season at least so my theory is that we'll see Mike meeting potentially innocent prisoners and working with Harvey & co on the outside to mount appeals etc while attempt to get the firm back off the ground. Probably while Mike fends off trouble in prison because it wouldn't surprise me in the least if the prison he is in happens to be the same one that Forstman is in and given Forstman's past with Mike and Harvey he'll have something of an axe to grind and he's got plenty of money to burn buying off prisoners and guards to make life very difficult for Mike[/spolier]

Also means we'll have it here mid-July. I think last season was 48 hours behind the US.

So what does everyone reckon? Will it start with him in jail at the start of his sentence or skip straight to him being out? I dont see how they can do a series really if it picks up with him being dropped off by Harvey.
I think the first episode will be something like his last month or so, with him trying to finalise his plans of what to do once out.
Cant wait

I'm guessing it will follow him in prison for a bit.I think the first episode will be something like his last month or so, with him trying to finalise his plans of what to do once out.

After signing a plea deal to spare his colleagues at Pearson Specter Litt, Mike is confronted with the harsh realities of prison life. Meanwhile the once bustling Pearson Specter Litt offices feel like a ghost town. The firm will have to deal with the fallout from Mike's crime before they can begin to rebuild.
