Better than last week (just). Seasick Steve seems ok, Sharleen Spiteri (or whatever she's called) has zero personality and Damien Lewis drives a mini convertible ffs! The Mclaren feature was good and Button was good Imo.
Eddie Jordan just fk off already! I actually don't mind Chris Evans.

6/10.

Room for (vast) improvement.

I only watched the last 15 minutes but I really enjoyed it.

I like EJ in small doses and seasick Steve seems like a great guy.

Certainly has promise.

Just get rid of Evans.....and what was Eddie Jordan on ?? I reckon Sharleen Spiteri could do a better job than Eddie.
Evans has absolutely ruined it for me frown

I do agree that it doesn't need Chris Evans.

It was better this week, and Chris used the term oversteer instead of skid (he must read this). Why the hate for Eddie Jordan? I quite like him.

I'm really enjoying extra gear though it's like they know that the enthusiasts want more from the show but know that deep down the main show can't cater for this (has to cater for the dumb masses)

That was an entertaining second episode. Will definitely watch next week.

Maybe some are guilty of viewing the old tired Top Gear with rose tinted glasses.

Evans was less irritating today. Guests were good fun. Le Blanc is the stronger host for sure. Well composed and good delivery.

Chris Evans in tears because of the F1? Really? Ultimate cringe.

I see the ghetto hugs / handshakes are back.

He is, but you would never have known from this particular program. Old presenters gave reverence to their guests where due, but no-one gets to upstage Chris Evans in this incarnation of the show and that was obvious from tonight.

I cannot be bothered to watch weak content/scripting whilst being assaulted by that total prick Evans who seems to have one one method of communication SHOUT in a SQUEAKY voice !....I feel sorry for MLB.

They have lost me and as noted above, did a lot of fast forwarding....

Enjoyed it!

Thought both MLB and CE came across better, last week I like quite a few was surprised that MLB was much better than expected, this week I felt CE's seemed more at ease and hope he will warm to people as the series continues.

I didn't think last week was as bad as people suggested but whatever this week was much better!

Looking forward to the next one!

Ghetto hugs lol I think they're more friendly than a cold handshake; a bit more personal and less formal

I thought e2 was a big improvement - I liked the idea of having 'guests' turn up whilst on location. Added a bit of freshness to the dialogue I thought. Indeed I preferred that to any episode of Clarkson, May etc over the last few seasons. My hope is restored.

That shot of Chris Evans' face in the window of the 675 LT whilst Jenson was ripping it up, hilarious.

Better than last week - but Evans is definitely the weak link, still far too shouty.

The opening on the trolley was cringeworthy - didn't even raise a smile. The SIARPC section too - I hate the top trumps format and getting the crowd to "vote". Same with getting the crowd to shout out "he's called the Stig". The only time audience interaction was funny in old TG was when Clarkson was taking the piss out of them.

Jensen button was great, as was MLB again - thought EJ was meh!

You didn't really watch the program did you?

I don't know if it's been mentioned before, but lots of canned laughter used to try and brighten things up when the audience got bored apparently.

But only according to the Sun, who spoke to one audience member and used them as a sense test for the entire segment. I'm going to say it again - after 3-4 takes yes, lots of people didn't laugh as much at the jokes, so they will have used different bits of the sound. Believe it or not, from those of us who were there and aren't out to be a source for the Sun, we did laugh.
