Chris Harris Podcast (Collecting Cars)
Discussion
I very much enjoyed Neil Cliffords tyre rant last week. Brillant.
The best Podcast currently. Nerdy but also enjoyable.
Although I cannot relate to anything Manish says.... it's either Senna, Formula 1 or "Luca". But Senna passed away 30 years ago, Formula 1 is boring and baffling and Luca de Montezemolo - well at least Luca has nice hair

Manish needs to go car shopping with Neil and buy something inappropriate for his family duties.
He will then fit into the Collecting Addicts weekly group therapy sessions.
(saying this after my car "friend" convinced me to buy a car unexpectedly last week - its the only way to do it!)

I do often think "what does Manish bring to the party"? But he's given me the most lol moments. Loved his talk about the different level of services carried out in India on a Morris Oxford (I might be wrong about it being a Morris Oxford, but it was some old crappy British car). Just a shame I can hardly hear him most of the time too.
Was at the Leeds Waterstones event for Chris’ new book tonight. Was a really good chat from Chris with some great anecdotes.
However I’d like to apologies on behalf of Yorkshire for the idiot woman who tried to shoplift a copy of his book on the way out - luckily the staff were on point and caught her. Unbelievable!

"I suddenly had nothing to do," Harris said. "I have got another business, which is an online car platform, which is great. I do stuff there.
He’s not listed as a director of CC.

But it's certainly a business he is involved with not sure the exact nature is that important a bit like Matt Armstrong and Carwow maybe. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-6736...

I've used the WC side to sell watches and it was through consuming much of Harris's content that I found them, so it works.
Dear whichever of the podcast gang is reading this thread, Manish's Bentley Boys movie needs reviving - it was 10 years too early and given the success of "Ford v Ferrari", "Lamborghini" and no doubt "Ferrari" this winter, I suspect there's now a stronger case for funding. If not, look into crowdsourcing it - I'd certainly invest.
